Bic Metal Men's Disposable Shaving Razors, 5-Count x 1 Pack

I’ve been using a Henson AL13 safety razor for over a year, but I needed a single-blade option that I could pack in my carry-on when flying (since TSA won’t allow DE blades). I tried the Bic Sensitive single-blade razor first, but found it a bit too mild and not efficient enough for my liking. The Bic Metal disposable turned out to be an excellent replacement. For those accustomed to a safety razor, the transition is very easy. The Bic Metal has noticeably better blade feel and efficiency compared to the Sensitive version. It provides a closer shave with fewer passes and feels more direct — much more in line with what I’m used to from a DE razor. A quick note for anyone new to single-blade razors: let the razor do the work and don’t press too hard. If you apply pressure like you would with a multi-blade cartridge, you may end up with some weepers. Use light pressure and short strokes, and it performs very well. Overall, this is a fantastic, affordable, TSA-friendly option — especially for those who normally shave with a safety razor but need something travel-ready. Highly recommended.

Work great and are made well for a disposable. I bought these because the 3 and 4 blade types do not work as well.

I enjoy 6 to 9 shaves per blade using a good shaving gel. Also I love the compact profile to carve shaved areas around my mouth and nose.

I have a somewhat heavy beard and I have been using these since they came out on the market. They are the best, very sharp and the single blade does not get hair stuck in between like multiple blades do.

If we shave in heaven, this is what we will use. These are the very best razors for my face. They are impossible to find in any retail store in my area. They have a single blade, with a good distance between the blade and the safety guard so shaved whiskers and soap are easily rinsed out. This single blade is like the light saber of shaving - I can literally shave the inside of my nose without a nick, it is so precise. I get fewer in-grown hairs with these razors. Expect one razor to last about a week, give or take. If you have some kind of steel wool beard and actually need 7 blades or some foolishness, just run this single blade over your beard several times for a more precise, tailored shave than those ridiculous multi-blade models could ever provide. I would give 5 stars except the razors I received were in Greek or Russian packaging. I think they are pretty much the same as the good 'ole American version I've been using for 20+ years, but not totally sure.

I bought these because I’d heard that switching to a single blade razor would help with strawberry legs and ingrown hairs. Even back when I was 11 and learning how to shave, I NEVER cut myself so horribly than I did with this razor. It took at least an inch and a half of skin off my leg. Shaving cream and body wash started running into the wound and I had to cut my everything shower short to go apply pressure and first aid. I got blood freaking everywhere and I couldn’t wear the outfit I wanted at thanksgiving because I had to tape gauze to my leg. I can’t imagine trusting this razor anywhere else on my body, especially on my face. 0/10 would not recommend.
