The media could not be loaded. I like wrist watches with a preference for the styles that have a larger face. I also like both extremes of the face details or lack of details. What I mean by this is, in relation to the artists/designers vision I like the minimal approach as well as the detailed design approach.I am happy to say this watch combines a bit of both styles within the dominant one being a more detailed clock face region. The Hugo Boss brand excels at watches with a knack for delivering consistent neat variation that looks great within the business casual or formal fashion category. I actually enjoy when I am wearing a blazer or suit jacket and go to look at the time. I can pull back the coat and slickly glance at the timepiece. So even if you are in full business formal gear with a long sleeve over the watch you can always pull off that maneuver periodically to showcase the watch.I feel it is important to wear a wrist watch as a sort of discipline in relation to not having to look at your phone for the time. It helps to have a connection tot he past in the same way I like vinyl records.The wrist band of this watch is a solid black leather. The clasp is neat in that it has a small logo branding on the right side. This can be seen in the video I included. I like how it just says Boss.I am wearing this watch right now and love glancing down at it. The metal has a nice shine to it that glistens when the light beams hit it. Even the natural indoor light bounces off it nicely creating a cool effect.My favorite feature of this watch is the mini circles in the center and off to the left center. These mini circles are set to work like a stop watch with the top one focusing on second and the bottom on minutes. The neat left of center one is a unique one that I feel is more of an artistic vision in that it appears to be a three part measurement of time in ten minute intervals. This is convenient for spacing things out in ten minute segments. Those center dials are operated by the buttons on the side of the watch face.What I meant by this watch design combining minimal and detail is best showcases in the difference between the middle dials and the main face. The smaller circles have only one three numbers visible while all of the numbers that indicate the hour are there along the perimeter of the main watch face.In conclusion I am very satisfied with this watch and recommedn it as well as others in the series for 2021 by Hugo Boss.

Now this is more like it. I’ve been testing a handful of watches from Hugo Boss over the last few days, and while they’ve all been nice I haven’t been particularly blown away by any of them. See, I’m not a big fan of watches made by fashion brands as I find they tend to skimp a little on the quality and styling while charging an arm and a leg for the branding, but I think Hugo Boss have managed to find the sweet spot with this one.This is a classy, beautiful watch from any angle. While it’s a little too chunky in its dimensions to qualify as a dress watch suitable for black tie I think you could pull it off, as the delicate details of the face bump up the refinement factor significantly. There are no flashes of colour here to distract the eye, no ‘look at me!’ features to detract from the beauty. It’s just a simple, elegant timepiece.If I had to find one minor gripe it would be that the dial isn’t all that easy to read in low light, as the delicacy of the hands and markers make them fairly low contrast against the black watch face, but I’m not going to ding it down from five stars. This is just a really great looking watch through and through, and I think it perfectly matches the reputation of Hugo Boss as one of the higher end fashion brands.

OK, traditionally Hugo Boss watches were made by Movado, a reputable Swiss watch maker.But I am not sure now.Many designer brands that peddle watches (Calvin Klein, for one)will put on their watch dial face "SWISS MADE" as a badge of honor,signifying inherent/inferred quality, while others may denote "SWISS MOVEMENT",even though rest of the watch components might be made/assembled elsewhere.Others may put "Japan Movement" in similar vein.Not that Japan movement is necessarily inferior but if your favorite designer brandswitched from Swiss made/movement to Japan movement, do you think it's better?As witnessed by the current offerings from Hugo Boss watches, there isno inscription as to the origins of the watch movement, while their booklet insertclearly states that their movement is Made in Japan.My assumption is that comparable Japan Movement costs less than Swiss Made/Movement.Therefore, I see this as a sly cost cutting maneuver on part of Hugo Boss to pad the bottom line.I like Movado; therefore, I like Movado made Hugo Boss watches.I see value in their watches knowing that they were actually Swiss made.These newer Hugo Boss watches? Yeah, they are still nice watches with strong design elements,but for me, inherent value is no longer there for me at these prices now that they are no longer Swiss made.A loss of star. Also, my copy had a defective chronograph function, thus another loss of star.

I wear this watch when I am a little more dressed up because of the sleek look and the black band which looks good with just about anything. The watch face is easy to read and has a few nice features (date and a timer). Although I find the stop watch modes on the watch to be pretty useless, having the extra dials does give the watch a nice look.The watch has a black face and a black band with silver rings to it, which makes it look great on my wrist. The watch is medium sized in terms of the face, so it stands out a bit without being big and clunky to wear. The watch was really comfortable after a couple of wears and looks great on my wrist.In terms of functionality, it worked great for me and has a timeless classic design to it so I think I will be able to wear this watch for a long time in the future as well.Overall, I'm really impressed with this watch and love wearing it all the time.

My boyfriend loved this watch for his birthday. Very sexy and attractive with a bold look. Works perfectly he’s had no issues.
