Good tea
The tea is good quality in appearance, aroma, and taste. You pop the bag open and you're immediately hit with the fragrant scent of citrus and tea leaves on the back end. I'd gotten this for the guys, because both of them love earl grey tea. It took multiple taste tests between this one and another brand we have for one of them to decide which he liked more (he went with the other brand because the other brand has a more muted citrus flavor and allows the tea leaves to stand out more). My husband couldn't tell the difference between them, but he liked both, no preference for either. So I guess it's a win? I'm not a huge earl grey drinker, as I'm not partial to citrus teas, but this tea was good. I'd gotten this because it was one of the best teas I'd seen, where they don't use bergamot flavoring and have actual peels in it, which is hard to find. Additionally, the tea is organic and loose leaf, which are also important factors for me. With the amount of microplastics they've found from using tea bags, I've decided to steer clear of them when possible. Despite the positives, I don't know that I'll buy it again, as it's kind of expensive for how quickly it gets drank, but we'll see.

Nice Earl Grey tea with REAL Bergamot, not just added flavoring.
I like this Earl Grey tea. Large, fresh-looking leaves and real bergamot - not โadded flavoringโ. A lot of Earl Grey teas just add bergamot oil, which in my opinion tastes more harsh. This tea is fairly light and delicate, which is normal for โtippyโ leaf teas (tippy = young leaves in the growing cycle). Sometimes I mix it with another black tea (Ahmad Special Blend) if I want something a bit more hearty, and thatโs very nice, also.

Very fragrant tea! 5 stars!
Very nice flavor, strong fragrance! I add a scoop (included) to my daily regular Yorkshire Gold tea to supercharge the flavor! Highly recommend!!

Very nice tea
Very nice black tea. Good color. No bitterness at a 6 minute steep. I like a strong tea. The bergamot could be a little stronger for me but keep in mind, I mix my Earl Grey with Darjeeling and Assam teas to create my own blend which is very soothing. When I try the Earl Grey on it's own, I'll come back to edit this review.

Great Taste!
Seller's item matched description & images on Amazon site and was delivered on time; would buy from this seller again. This was a wonderfully flavorful Earl Grey loose leave blend with a bit of extra zing from the bergamot peels (not just an oil infusion), but not at all overpowering. It's my new favorite Early Grey loose leaf tea (my former fav was Westholme Tea Co. Classic Earl but they're in British Columbia and don't ship to the US).

Best Earl Grey I've Tasted, UNTIL...
My favorite Earl Grey. This is no tall order, as I've tried only one other Earl Grey (Numi's tea bags) and found those to be bitter and have an unpleasant aftertaste. Golden Moon's Earl Grey is smoother and has a beautiful citrusy aftertaste. The bergamot does not overpower the tea, which I've heard is a problem with a lot of Earl Greys. The color of the liquor is dark amber. This is a malty blend with notes of dark chocolates and Medjool dates that pair nicely with the citrus. I wish Golden moon would offer this blend free of bergamot. The leaves are very good looking. They are longer and straighter compared to other blacks I've bought from Golden Moon. It's a three leaf blend, two from China and one from India. The description says Assam, Keemun and Yunnan. They ought to take this blend without the bergamot oil and offer it as their "English Breakfast." Anyways, this one DOES have bergamot and is a winner. UPDATE TUESDAY AUG. 28, 2018 I've been drinking this tea for a couple of weeks now. Everything I said above remains true. However, on Monday morning (8/27/18) before brewing my tea, I found a rusty bolt in my Earl Grey. This sickens me considering I had brewed this tea maybe four or five times, serving it to my mother, father, and sister. This is not the first time I've had an issue with Golden Moon products. Just last week I asked for a refund on a bag of Darjeeling that had a two inch, curly black hair in it. I got my refund and threw out the tea, not thinking much of it. Just a fluke, right? Wrong. This company has a serious quality control issue. It's a shame considering the teas are so delicious. I mean, seriously good. But at the end of the day, I'd rather drink a tea that was treated with pesticides, than an organic tea with foreign hairs, metals, and who knows what else. What other smaller contaminants could I have brewed and consumed in the past month of drinking this tea? I no longer trust this company and will be asking Amazon for a full refund on the $100+ I've spent on Golden Moon products.
