Love the delicious and authentic flavors of this chicken satay mix. I received this item once years ago for a review and have been purchasing it ever since.When you can't make it out to the restaurant, this kit makes it easy to have an Asian-style meal. Each of the ingredients comes separately - peanut sauce, marinade, etc. and the instructions are clear to follow. It's not hard to make - mix marinade, marinate, cook, mix sauce, eat. It smells amazing when cooked on the grill. You can also cook it stovetop in a pan. Make sure you get that nice crisp on the chicken regardless of how you cook it.As is the case with most Asian food in the US, this might not be authentic enough for serious Asian foodies, but it's pretty close. Prima Taste is based in Singapore so the Asian flavors are miles ahead of the usual (Americanized) Asian meal kits you'd find in the traditional US grocery store.I've found that I've always had more peanut sauce than needed. You can save the extra and use it as a dip for toast. Nom nom.(That the prices here aren't always the cheapest so it may be worth price shopping for this product.)

Both the marinate and the peanut sauce is so tasty! My family is from Singapore and it tastes just like home!

Authentic Satay taste and the gravy is great. I use this for making beef satay using eye of round for tender juicy grilling. Easy preparation and I let the meat marinade for five days to get that flavor into every bite. Add Ketupat/Lontong, Sliced Cucumber and Onions and you have a great meal.

When used with chicken, it tasted like the real thing, as per satay found in Singapore. The peanut sauce is also like what you find in Singapore. I tried using the marinate with lamb and it did not go well - lacks flavor.

Daughter liked this product while she was in Singapore and brought home a box. We tried it and really liked it. Funny that I couldn't find it in the various Southern California Asian grocery stores, but found other Prima Taste products. I bought 2 cases (8 boxes).

I was recommended these, as well as the Singapore Curry and Laksa kits by a SIngaporean family - they said that if you want an authentic curry, cook one of these. They were right! Love it! So happy Amazon carries it.

Prima Taste Satay Sauce is, in my opinion, the best marinade around for someone who does not want to spend time rounding up lemongrass, turmeric, galangal and peeling 20 some shallots and pounding the whole lot into a cohesive paste. The flavor is authentic (I'm Singaporean). The satay sauce is great. I have ordered this before and I know what I am getting. However, I knocked off two stars because my packets arrived with just two weeks to spare before the expiry dates. That's not a lot of time is it? I probably would not order from the same seller (BLINQ) again. The last time I ordered this same four pack sauce kit, the expiry date was a whole year out.
