Fantastic, study, professional quality
This is one solid piece of equipment. Before selecting I looked over the features of at least five similar items, and I’m so glad I picked this. Please pardon the mess in my attached photo, though you can see I have the boom significantly extended with a Teleprompter attached. I added extra stabilizing weight with a sandbag on the bottom, and also an additional hanging bag at the back of the pole. On top the Teleprompter, I both said a Nikon D90 with a fixed, focus lens, then also shot some video with a light weight handy cam. It held through all without a budge. Once I had the ball head secure, everything was excellent. 100% worth its price tag. I would absolutely purchase this again.

Love it
I have a youtube channel and this thing is great for getting those shots where you can't move the tripod up close. I use this all the time.

This boom arm is perfect for my small space. Holds well and doesn't slip.

Not heavy duty but works well
For the price, this is a very good piece of equipment. If you need an absolutely rock solid camera support you may need something else, but it works well for me. I am very happy with it.

Love this.
I don't use it enough due to having tons of other equipment but for run and gun, this is my goto for light travel.

Needs more weight
Needs more weight , camera becomes heavier with bigger lense. It cannot support lot of weight.

This works like a dream it goes to a great height for overhead shots and video making. I love this tripod for filming my online classes

Been looking at getting one of these for some time and was unsure of which way to go. Gave this a try and so far (with limited use) it seems good.

Very tricky ball head! Beware! You will not be able to put any other heads

It's a bit on the pricey side but it's absolutely a big hunk of metal that feels as solid as can be and gives me all the confidence in the world to do overhead shots with my camera. The weights are a very nice touch to balance the setup. The shortest length of the boom is about 20 cm which is very nice. The only downside I found was on my Manfrotto tripod that has a none-round center column. Because there's no swivel if you can't rotate the arm you are basically stuck with whatever orientation you end up with. I resolved this by 3D printing some spacers. It's not ideal but it works. This is only an issue if you mount it without the head obviously, something that can be recommendable since heads on lower tier tripods are probably not made to deal with this weight.
