I'm not sure. You should put a clear coating over it to keep it in tact and most of those are flammable. Itself maybe not but between the adhesive for it and clear coating I would think so.

I used the silver gilding for my fish picture. It comes with a plastic backing film which makes it very easy to use. Very effective finish which glitters. I have used the Pebeo varnish to finish it.
