Came on day specified. Lamps seem well constructed and have a bit of weight to them. see how they last.

I bought these to replace halogens in a dimmable free-standing light. They are substantially larger than halogens and wouldn't fit all units, but were fine in my own light. This LED lamp is very bright and works with the dimmer. I decided after a couple of days that the 6000K colour-temperature was too cold for our living-room, and have now replaced it with a lower-output 2700K lamp. I've given it 4/5 as it wasn't quite right for the application I bought it for, but it would be great in other settings: the brightness and 360 degree pattern would be ideal for a worklamp or floodlight with a reflector or something similar. Similarly, I have given it 4/5 for longevity because I haven't used it long enough to evaluate this, but I would expect that to be good too.

Replacement for a torpedo style halogen. Straight swap and very effective.

09/01/2024. I fitted this bulb to a John Lewis uplighter and so far it has worked with no flicker and it has replaced a 230W bulb which I was pretty reluctant to switch on due to the price of energy! Now at around 20w it feels cheap. 4 stars because I had to buy 2. So far I'm very satisfied I will return to this review if it lets me down with an update. Ok so now the 20 Jan 24 and I have used this light for 5 hours or so per night on an intermediate setting and I've had it 11 days so that's a life of about 55 hours and it has stopped working. Luckily I had to buy that bulb I didn't want so I've fitted that. So far so good. I'll let you all know how that one lasts.

Does fit in but flickers quite bit on lower dimmable setting ,not sure if it bulb or light switch

Super bright work well and fingers crossed they will provide long service life.

27 May 2017 This is the second of these R7s bulbs I have bought. The first one was 3000k and would not dimmer in my floor lamp, so it got put into our security light. The design has changed and the fan removed from the bulb. This one is also 6000k instead of 3000k and I was surprised to find that it works in my dimmable floor lamp. Very pleased. It gives almost as bright a light as the halogen bulb, a better colour and it dims. UPDATE 1 SEPTEMBER 2018 The bulb just stopped working. I am tryingto contact the seller as it is covered by 2 years warranty. Not had any response from the seller yet.

Good replacement for original halogen bulbs. Working well and are dimmable, plus save electricity. You can get cheaper bulbs but I found many of them didn't work.

ho sostituito nr 6 lampadine alogene da 80 w in salone (circa 90 mq) con le lampadine in oggetto. La luminosità è rimasta la stessa ma con un consumo decisamente inferiore ( 60 w contro 480 w delle precedenti alogene), Le lampadine sono inserite in appliques rivolte verso il soffitto e producono una luce armoniosa. Non ho avuto difficoltà nella sostituzione con i nuovi led in quanto l'attacco è decentrato ( GENIALE !!! ) e mi ha permesso l'inserimento senza difficoltà. L'unico neo risulta nella dimmerabilità in quanto tengono a " sfarfallare" in luminosità basse, Comunque per me non creano problemi data la metratura da illuminare. Conclusione : soddisfatto e propenso a consigliare il prodotto. Speriamo nella durata nel tempo!...Si vedrà!

Ordinata venerdì, consegnata sabato, in meno di 24 ore. Installata in 30 secondi sulla piantana in salotto. Funziona perfettamente. Luce intensa (la mia è del tipo a luce fredda, a 6000 °K) e diffusa. I 3000 lumen promessi sembrano esserci tutti (in casa mia, da sola, illumina un salotto di circa 24 m^2). Risponde perfettamente al dimmer (che prima agiva su una alogena da 150 Watt). Non scalda neanche un po'. Ora è accesa da mezz'ora e ci si può ancora appoggiare sopra la mano. Non ha la ventola di raffreddamento e quindi non fa nessun rumore. Consigliatissima. Se vi state chiedendo se può andare sulla vostra piantana la risposta è: sicuramente sì, a patto che disponga del classico attacco lineare lungo per lampade alogene (118 mm di lunghezza, tipo R7S), che la lampada sia puntata verso l'alto e che ci siano almeno 2 cm di spazio disponibili sopra la lampada. Nel mio caso, infatti, ho dovuto rimuovere il vetro che proteggeva la lampada alogena per fare spazio a questa lampada LED (operazione che si compie in dieci secondi e che non comporta controidicazioni). Se all'interno della vostra piantana la lampada è puntata di lato, è molto probabile che questa lampada LED si inchini verso il basso a causa del suo peso. Normalmente non fa nessuna differenza ma... sappiatelo.

Ho preso questa lampadina per sostituire un'alogena da 300w La luce è calda ed è molto simile a quella alogena, la luminosità è abbastanza elevata, riesco a illuminare il mio soggiorno da 18mq molto bene. è chiaro che rispetto alla precedente luce alogena si perdono un po' di lumen, ma nonostante la minore luminosità della lampadina LED, mi sento assolutamente di consigliare questa lampadina. Precedentemente, avevo provato l'acquisto di una osram (quella dai lumen più alti) ma la luminosità in confronto a questa era veramente scadente. Questa lampadina attualmente rappresenta il miglior compromesso tra risparmio e resa effettiva La sto usando da circa due mesi. Nella confezione sono presenti due lampadine per cui il costo rispetto alle altre marche più blasonate è abbastanza irrisorio. Specifico che la lampadina, a differenza di altre marche cinesi, non ha nessuna ventolina che ne raffredda i componenti, presenta solo una parte in alluminio che si occupa di dissipare al meglio il calore, per cui nessun ronzio della lampadina causa ventolina aggiuntiva. Nella speranza che sia pure longeva, solo il tempo dirà se l'acquisto è stato azzeccato pure dal punto di vista della longevità.

Certainement plus économique que mon ancien halogène , mais attention à l'encombrement , diamètre beaucoup plus gros, mais heureusement excentré de son axe, qui permet de l 'orienter pour trouver la bonne place dans son support.
