I love this display case! You can open the case and access the pins without taking it off the wall, so it’s easy to add to my collection or rearrange. The foam is thick enough to support even my heaviest pins without the backs on them. I have one “snow globe” pin that sticks out further than the others, and there is enough space between the plastic and the foam so that even it fits. A couple drawbacks for others - the “glass” is actually plastic, and this case is designed so that you can’t keep the backs on your pins. I see these features as positives though - plastic is lighter and doesn’t weigh down and warp the frame, (which was an issue with my previous glass-front display), and no backs makes it easier to rearrange your collection. I would definitely purchase again when my collection grows!

The case was exactly what I have been looking for. You can hang it on the wall or set it on a stand. The quality is great and the clasp holds it shut. Packaging was solid also so no damage in shipping. Highly recommended.

At the time of purchase, this product only had a single 5-star review, which seemed suspicious. It's not a very expensive case and uses acrylic instead of glass, but it seemed worth a shot. I'm really happy with it! It was very well packaged, comes with everything you need to hang it, and looks great. Some of the pictures made it seem more grey than black; it's definitely black, which was a positive for me. The felt backing material works great and barely leaves a mark when adjusting the position of pins. The acrylic pane is secured with little bent metal strips (think like a typical picture frame) and glued in with something akin to rubber cement. It looks like it could be removed if you ever wanted to swap out for a new sheet of acrylic or upgrade to glass. I'd totally buy another one when this one fills up!

Okay so I currently own 4 of these for my pin collection. I was looking for the largest shadow box like type for my pins and came across this. I've owned them for a little less than a year now and finally decided to write a review. So far they are great for most of my pins. They hold the lighter ones firmly and have yet seen one fall out. Now my heavier pins on the other hand seem to not want to stay in no matter how many times I choose a different spot. I'm mainly talking about my hinged pins. The good news is since they don't fall to the ground, I'm able to take the display off the wall and push them back in until they do it again but like I said, over 90% of my pins don't do this and this is the only reason I'm only giving it 4 stars. Tips for hanging it are: Don't use the cheap wall Anchors provided. They can easily fall into the drywall. Also I noticed the back hanging parts are different lengths sometimes so make sure to measure each one (If you're getting more than one) before hanging them. Other than that, It's quite straight forward. I'm happy for the time being with these display cases. I make sure to keep them away from direct sunlight and in a cool environment. I rarely use the locking method considering it's sort of cheap in my opinion but it's cool that it's there just in case of anything. All in all I hope the company keeps making small improvements over time and I'm looking forward to ordering more.
