Spackle Primer - Hydrate - Super-Size 2 Fl Oz - Hyaluronic Acid Makeup Primer for Mature Skin

As you get older your skin get dryer and more textured. This primer was a game changer for me. It blurs and my makeup doesn't settle in my skin at all. The days I don't use it are massively more noticeable. I don't use foundation so I am not sure how that will settle. I use mine with Erborian CC cream and light Erborian BB cream when I need a tad more coverage

I needed to upgrade my facial primer to better help my mature (age 60) dry sensitive skin. Purchased this LAURA GELLER NEW YORK Spackle Primer - Hydrate formula. This is my first purchased from this brand. Wowza! Everything about this wonderful product exceeded my expectations. - Incredibly soothing and comfortable to wear. My facial skin immediately felt comforted after gently patting the primar onto my face. I saw improvement with my skin after just one use. The following morning, after cleansing my face it was more plump, soft, smooth, and I had more color in my skin. So happy with those results! - Great to wear under makeup, or alone when you have a "clean face" day. - Love the tube design with the pump. Very easy to dispense! - Application Tip: Some of the videos of women applying this primer to their face show the women rubbing the primer hard into their facial skin. I do -not- recommend this application technique, as rubbing hard and pulling on your face can damage your skin. I suggest simply gently patting the primer onto your face (and neck area of desired.) It absorbs into your skin right away. So happy I found this combination skin care and beauty product! I highly recommend it!

I went into this primer with high hopes. My undereyes are basically a desert wasteland where concealer goes to die. Patchy? Check. Settling into fine lines? Double check. So when I saw the words “Hydrate” and “Spackle,” I thought, Finally—someone made makeup cement for grown-ups. Well… not exactly. This stuff is hydrating, yes. Like, really hydrating. If my skin could send thank-you notes, it would. But as a primer? Let’s just say my foundation and concealer still quit on me faster than a teenager on dish duty. Staying power? Nope. Pore-filling? About as effective as trying to cover a pothole with a Fruit Roll-Up. The texture is also confusing—it’s more runny and gel-like, which is fine, but “spackle” feels like false advertising. When I hear “spackle,” I expect something that could hold a crumbling wall together. This? More like water balloons at a kids’ birthday party—fun, refreshing, but not what you’d use to fix structural damage. Here’s where it redeems itself: team-ups. Pair it with a thicker, heavy-duty primer, and suddenly it’s a whole different story. I combined it with the Wet n Wild Impossible Primer and BAM—dream team. Together, they survived a 10+ hour shift of sweaty, heavy lifting in a bone-dry warehouse. Makeup still intact. Basically the Avengers of primers, except one’s clearly the sidekick. Would I repurchase? Honestly… probably not. I don’t want to buy a product that only shines when another one carries it. This primer is like that one friend who’s fun at parties but can’t plan a trip to save their life—you love them in a group, but solo? Hard pass. Verdict: Excellent hydration, disappointing primer powers. Keep it if you need moisture, but don’t expect it to “spackle” anything except your hopes and dreams.

This.stuff.is.amazing! It is absolutely worth the price! I'm ashamed to admit that I'm 42 and had never heard of primer before, and this came in a sample set I bought from a different site. The results were immediate and impressive - my skin looks so smooth and my makeup looks absolutely flawless over this spackle! Buy it - you will not regret it! I am now a devoted customer.

I love Laura Geller products. The spackle primer can’t do without this one I bought for my sister for her birthday and she absolutely loves it.
