The Spice Way Tomato Powder 8 oz dried tomatoes made into a powder

Love this tomato powder and use it in almost everything. It comes in a pouch, which is ok but would rather have it in a canister. Flavor is great. I use it in baking and cooking. Mixes up really well. It’s a regular in my spice cabinet!!!

A little goes a long way. Really strong concentrated flavor so start out small. I use it to boost the flavor and texture of sauces, stews, soups. I also add it to my meals in a jar recipes. Not salty or spicy at all. It’s a very fine powder and after opening the bag, it started to clump (I live in high humidity) so I transferred it to a different container and added a moisture absorber. Really seems to work. This is a good quality product from a reliable company. Will definitely buy again.

Morning smoothies are good, but on cold mornings, you want warm soup. I use this tomato powder to make cup soups. Just put this in a cup with freeze-dried onion and consomme powder, pour in hot water and microwave for a few minutes with your favorite vegetables, celery or carrots, and your soup is ready to serve. Of course, you may prefer to use canned tomatoes or fresh tomatoes, but those can't compete with the ease of this tomato powder. The tomato powder is made from only seasonal tomatoes, you can immediately enjoy the original flavor of tomatos without worrying about additives. I purchased 8 oz. which may seem like a small amount, but the tomatoes are so concentrated that even a small amount was enough. It can be used not only for soups, but also as a substitute for ketchup when you are worried about the sugar content of ketchup, to add richness to tomato sauce, or to knead into bread dough, etc. It can be used in many ways with the ease that only powder can provide.

Great flavor and very versatile. It is the second time I have ordered this however this time it was very clumpy and I had to put it in my food processor to get it more powdered.

The best pantry addition! Great quality Spices. Tomato flavor is such a boost to sauces and soups it’s also great sprinkled on Potato Chips.

Excellent product! I use 2T powder with 2T of water to make tomato paste for lasagna. So much easier than having to buy it canned or in a tube. It really thickens the sauce nicely and adds deeper flavor. I will continue to purchase.

I only just opened it as I have another brand that wasn't quite empty. Just tasted it now and it's really tasty, just what I was looking for. It has a good seal, and tastes very fresh. Very happy with the purchase.

I thought it would be softer, but it's in hard, lumpy pieces, similar to old brown sugar.
