Can you make soup from this?

I'm not sure you can make a stand alone soup out of this without the addition of other ingredients but it would certainly make a tomato flavored broth. It will also make a tomato paste if you only use a minimum amount of water. I have used it as an addition to soups to add tomato flavor.

Aproximatly how many cups of powder are in this 8 oz bag?

The package label says that a serving size is 1/2 tablespoons and that there are 448 servings per package. There would then be 224 tablespoons in the package. At 16 tablespoons per cup that would convert to 14 cups. That is obviously wrong. The package cannot contain much more that one cup of powder.

Is your powder chunky like the picture? I’d like that.

The tomato powder is not chunky. It has the consistency of a powder and blends easily into sauces, stews or soups.
