Pricey but worth it. This is THE solution for a guitar pedalboard
This stuff is great! I don't know how they make it lock so tightly when you want but able to be removed so easily if you need at the same time, but it does just that. If you're making a guitar pedal-board, this is THE solution. Previously, I'd used industrial velcro on my guitar pedalboard, but there always seemed to be issues. The wooley side would pick up dander and detritus, the pedals always felt like they had a bit of wiggle to them, and sometimes they would pop off in transit. Furthermore, the adhesive had the tendency to rip off paint and labels and left a residue on the pedals which would affect resale value, so I had to cover the bottoms of the pedals in gaffer tape first which would be fine until I decided to move or swap out a pedal and the gaffer tape would peel off before the velcro came undone. Enter this wonderful stuff! It's pricey but holy hell, does it work. The sticky adhesive is quite strong and I'm confident it will hold onto the pedal, but when you want to remove it, as long as you SLOWLY peel it, it won't damage your pedal or leave any residue. The actual locking part (the 'velcro') "clicks" into place when you press a pedal down to your board with a satisfying "cla-clack". After that, your pedal is ON your board. No wiggle, no popping off in transit. I can actually grab a pedal and lift my entire board with it so that thing is SECURE. When I want to remove a pedal all I need to do is wrap my fingers around the pedal and lift from one side (with a little bit of leverage) and it will pop right off. It's definitely more expensive than velcro, but a little went a long way for me. It seems that the amount you use directly correlates to how firmly it sticks. I put full-width strips across the lanes on my actual board, but then cut strips in half to put at the top and bottom of my pedal (eg, 1" strips were cut into two 1/2" strips and put at the top and bottom of the pedal spanning the entire width). Feel free to use a full strip if you more or less want to lock it in place forever but I like to change things around occasionally. A half-width strip seems like a good balance between holding it firmly while also allowing it to be removed with very little hassle. For my purposes, I have absolutely no worries anything will pop off. I probably WOULDN'T line the entire bottom of the pedal lengthwise like I normally would have with velcro. It's a waste of costly product and a bit overkill, but YMMV. Next, I'm going to experiment with using full size strips to lock my power supply to the bottom of the board. As crazy as it sounds, I'm not at all worried about the powersupply falling off despite hanging from the bottom like that. I'll report back if that ends up being a stupid idea. I know it doesn't make sense that both the adhesive and locking part of the strips both hold firmly AND are able to be removed easily, but give it a try and you'll see what I mean. It kind of reminds me of Newtonian fluid where if you punch it it becomes really firm, but you can easily dip your hand in slowly like it's water. Different tech, I know, but that's the best analogy I can come up with. If you search guitar forums, some people will recommend using a combination of black and clear strips, but I'm almost 100% certain that's just for aesthetics. I used 100% clear strips and it's fine although you can see the strips on the board. If that bothers you, use black on the board. For now, I honestly don't care. Also, if the pedals you're trying to use have rubber bottoms of them, you'll either need to peel that back or better yet, get a flat backing plate from reverb.com, ebay, or perhaps etsy. The adhesive for the strips won't stick to the rubber very well. You could also cover the bottom with gaffer tape and then stick the strips to that, but I wouldn't recommend it for the reasons I'd already mentioned above. I found flat backing plates for the few Boss pedals I have on reverb.com which work swimmingly. Now that I know this stuff exists and how it works, I'm sure I'll find tons of other uses for it in the studio. I can't recommend it enough.

Definitely a lot sturdier than most!
good durable velcro! I cant say how good the adhesive is cause I used a adhesive promoter to help it hold on a metal surface. id say for the money and quality ya get a good amount! not to thick, not to thin. the adhesion is definitely a LOT sturdier than i really thought it would be! I had been using industrial velcro from a shop i worked at yrs ago and that stuff was STRONG!! but its used it up so i purchased this. while this isnt as strong as that 3M industrial velcro, this isn't far behind that stuff! hold it really tight. im using this velcro to hold smaller items in place in my camper. heaviest item is a 16x12x5" 2 burner propane stove. I ran 3, 12" strips, 3 on the stove, 3 on the hard aluminum surface, and it stays put!!!! very functional velcro that has multiple uses! I will adhere to more aggressive type carpet. while i did use adhesive promoter for the surface of the stove, i didn't(forgot) on the stove, but its holding FIRM! obviously you need to thoroughly clean whatever surface you plan on adhering the velcro to for optimal hold!! again, its a really good quality velcro thats durable, does pretty much what it says. with that being said, for the money, you get a good quantity of material for many uses! highly recommend this 3M velcro!!

The 3M SJ3560 Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener is a game-changer for anyone needing a reliable and robust fastening solution. This product excels in both performance and ease of use. The straightforward, low-profile design is unobtrusive and perfect for various applications, from securing electronic devices to organizing cables. One of the standout features is its incredible holding power. The interlocking mushroom-shaped heads provide a solid bond to hold heavy items securely. Despite its strength, it is also easy to separate and reattach, which adds to its versatility. I've used it for mounting gadgets and organizing my workspace, and it has always succeeded in delivering. Another highlight is the adhesive backing. It sticks firmly to a variety of surfaces, including plastic, metal, and glass, without damaging them upon removal, making it ideal for both permanent and temporary applications. The very vest mounting adhesive you can buy, and I would know!!
Nothing I have tried (and seriously its a lot) has worked like this. It holds my 15 inch plush cases on to the wall!!! They stay put too its amazing Definitely the best you can get. Strong velcro type effect but way better than actual velcro. Just clean the spot with alcohol, allow it to dry and voila you item stats put mounted to the wall or ceiling. Couldn't be easier and no mounting tape, or anything works half as well

Very strong, very handy, better than expected
Very handy! When compared to VHB tape which works well too, I'd rate this stronger and, less likely to damage painted walls and it has the neat benefit of being translucent. Unlike the black VHB tape, it barely shows up. No need to "hide your crimes" when mounting things to the wall. The same item applying logitudinal angular force on the same surface has now held longer with this compared to VHB tape. Very impressed. I'd recommend using both as they apply to your project. Well priced for 2x rolls. Could do with a piece of tape on the inside of each roll as they unspool easily. Keep them in the box and pull out as required. Cuts easily with kitchen scissors.

The fact that everyone is cutting back.
I love the product, I use it for many different applications such as holding my fishing pole parts together after I break them down, hanging pictures in plaques etc. this is the second time I have bought this product and the first time I bought it it came with a pair of scissors and I was hoping to get that again, alas no scissors. That's one of the reasons I was buying this. Oh well Life Will go on!!

Way stronger then velcro but works the same as velcro
This stuff is seriously strong—way more secure than regular Velcro. Once it snaps together, it really stays put, but you can still pull it apart when needed. Great for mounting things without drilling holes. The adhesive sticks well to clean surfaces, and it feels super durable. Just make sure you line it up right the first time because it’s not easy to reposition. A little pricey, but worth it for how solid it is.

Sturdy, strong and reusable long-term
This stuff is fantastic. I love using it for everything that calls for traditional Velcro. Even sometimes where 3M exterior adhesive is applicable, I use this, because it's the same thing but with a separation layer. I have two standing desks with Thunderbolt docks, ethernet switches, USB hubs, and all sorts of electronics attached to the underside. This stuff is holding it all together, and very well for a few years now. It's easy to change the setup because of the removability of the stuff. It also doesn't wear out at all, as far as I've noticed. I've even used it at work to affix some heavy vinyl/MDF panels to the wall for aesthetic purposes, which is probably more weight than the 3M Dual-Lock is designed to handle. But it's still there, holding steady, very well. I don't know about weight capacity exactly but it's more than advertised for sure.

Super eficiente
Había probado Velcro y otros adhesivos, pero está cinta es excelente, se adhiere con mucha fuerza y cuando se empatan las citas cuesta despegarlas. Si buscas algo parecido al Velcro que pegué excelente está es la mejor opción. (No para telas)
