Starmark Bob-A-Lot Interactive Dog Pet Toy, Large, Yellow/Green/Purple

My lab puppy absolutely loves this! And so do I. My 5 month old lab puppy loves to play with us and is not so good at playing by himself. Though he is getting a little better. I use this when we need to keep him occupied or when we need a little break. I bought this for him when we first got him at about 2 months old; even then he had no problems figuring it out. Depending on how much food I put in it, this will keep him busy for quite awhile. My puppy does not usually have much of an attention span, he is always jumping from one toy, bone, or chew to another. But with this I know I can consistently depend on him being entertained for at least 15 to 30 minutes, again, depending on how much food I put in there. "Bob" as we call him, is very well made. I purchased the large one and it holds about 2 cups of food. The yellow top screws off so that you can pour the food in, there is an adjustable opening so if you want to make it harder for your dog you can adjust it and he will have to work harder to get the food out. It screws on quite tight and has never come off while my dog is playing with it even when he carries it around by the top. There is another opening towards the bottom where the food comes out that is also adjustable depending on how easy you want it to be or how big the food is that you are using. Both openings are pretty large and I have never had an issue with putting things in there. I know some people use it to put their dog's food in, as my dog is self fed I have never done that. But I do use Cheerios and all kinds of other cereals and treats but mainly I use other "special" dog foods. I buy moist and dry dog foods that look like they may taste good and use them as treats. My dog thinks he is getting treats and never knows the difference, he loves them. It's healthier than feeding him lots of treats and also a lot cheaper. Using the "Bob" not only keeps him independently entertained but also helps to tire him out. It can be a bit loud as I have tile floors but it is not that bad. It is constructed extremely well. My pup plays very rough with it, he bats it around into walls, furniture etc., drops it down steps, it has taken a beating but it has stood up to my dog's abuse, where many of his other toys have not made it. It is very easy to clean. I plan on purchasing another one for my sister-in-law's pig. She is 70 pounds over weight and hates to move around but obviously loves food. I think that putting her food inside will be just the motivation she needs. And it is so well made that I don't have to worry about giving it to her!

Best toy ever! I have an energetic Wire Fox Terrier who gets bored easily with all his toys—except for this one! We’ve had this interactive food dispenser for seven years and Tintin still gets as excited about it as he did when we first got it, and it’s so sturdy that it survives his terrier outbursts. If this toy EVER breaks, we will immediately buy another one, but I have a feeling it’s going to last a long time and keep amusing my little guy. It’s fairly easy to clean, just fill it with dish soap water and let it sit for about ten minutes, shake it, rinse it, and let it dry overnight or maybe a day or two. It’s also not a noisy toy except for the rattle the kibble inside, which lets Tintin know there’s still something inside to work for, and it does make my dog noisy, but in this case that’s a good thing as he working out his wire Fox terrier energy.

My 4-year-old Italian Greyhound can have a LOT of energy at times that I'm exhausted. I'm so happy we tried this toy, because I just put treats in the top (yellow) part, adjust the hole for them to fall into the round part, and adjust the hole size for them to come out of the toy so that it takes a while. Ever since he discovered treat-dispensing toys, they're the only type my dog will play with. Since I can customize the sizes of the holes and treats, he is distracted by this for a long period of time. My dog enjoys it, I appreciate it, but my downstairs neighbors probably wish it never existed. It's definitely got weight to it and when it bounces on the wood floor, it makes a dense thud-- it's built to stay upright, so there's weight balance. My dog loves this toy and has so much fun with it! I bought one to be delivered to my parents' house for when we visit, so we don't have to travel with the extra weight and space. They have their dog play with it, too, because he rips apart everything, no matter how "strong" the toy is, except this one. Worth the money. Resistant to chewing, enjoyable, and is good exercise for doggies.

StarMark is a trustworthy brand. This is an excellent product, I just wish it were a bit easier to fill with kibble. But it's super sturdy with adjustable openings to make it harder or easier for pup to get 'paid' for their work. I wanted this tumble toy so I could keep track of it - the other rolling interactive feeders have gotten lost, and my fur kid has outsmarted the snuffle mat - he just throws it upside down and dumps out all the kibble at once. Sometimes a dog can be you smart.

This is my boxer/shepherd mix favorite toy! Keeps her occupied until all of the treats run out. Easy to fill - I stuff it with small training treats. I purchased a while ago and it’s still in good shape.

Searching for an interactive toy to feed my beagle his meals from, I first tried the Smarter Toys 3-Inch IQ Treat Ball Dog Toy . It split open too easily in rough play and only had the capacity to hold half of a meal. Next I tried Premier Busy Buddy Tug-A-Jug, Medium/Large for it's larger capacity but it broke at the lid (to Premier's credit they replaced it but I feared it would simply break again). Now on to the Bob-A-Lot. This is a heavy, well made product. I was surprised by the weight. My dog can pick it up but can't carry it for very long. I feel it's not going to break like the others did. That said, the extra weight makes it a noisy toy especially on hard wood floors. The small Bob-A-Lot holds a little over 1 cup of food (large holds 3 cups) but there is a caveat. This is the capacity of the lower chamber. There is actually a separate chamber in the top of the toy that only holds about quarter cup. As a result I have to shake and shake the toy myself to get the food to drop into the lower chamber to load in a complete meal. It's either that or insert food 1 piece of kibble at a time. I wish this toy screwed apart like the IQ Treat Ball or Tug-A-Jug. Despite it's appearance, it does NOT screw apart in the middle. Also slightly annoying is the bottom door doesn't stay fixed into position well. The IQ Treat Ball smartly has several positions for the door to stay locked in. The Bob-A-Lot door is fully adjustable but has often come open more than I want during feeding. As a result the kibble will spill out faster which ruins the challenge. I inquired to Starmark support and they suggested that I use a bit of cardboard or some such to try and jam the door into a specific position. This right here tells me that some additional design could be used. I'd say that the Bob-A-Lot was designed with dogs in mind but not humans. It's a chore to load in the food. And then the door opens too much giving the dog an easy meal. I might even guess that it takes less time for my dog to empty it than it takes for me to fill it. Overall it's the best option I've found but I'm still searching for the perfect combination of all 3 of the toys.

Hands down my dog's favorite toy. It keeps him busy, mental stimulation is great, and watching him wobble it around the room never gets old. I had one for a really long time and got so much use out of it. The only reason I ended up replacing it was that kibble crumbs and dust started getting permanently stuck in the inner seam making it tough to get 100% clean. But considering how many hours of use we got out of the first one, it was a no-brainer to just order another. Highly recommend for high-energy pups!

I am so happy that I bought this feeder/toy for my one-year-old Aussie! Before I purchased it, my girl would eat well one day, then ignore her food the next day or two, and so on. However, because she is an Aussie, or a working dog by both nature and genetics, she loves having a job to do. So, now, she happily "works" for her food twice a day--every day--and loves it! And I love it, too. Not only is the item easy to fill, but I enjoy watching her bopping it with her nose or foot, and figuring out creative solutions to getting it out from under furniture or tight corners, etc. And, regardless of how often it gets bopped into furniture, it has done no damage whatsoever to anything. And, given that we have a few pieces of gorgeous Victorian furniture in our living room, this matters to us a great deal! Best of all, our dog is eating every day, twice a day, at a relaxed pace, and enjoying it thoroughly. In fact, although I still put a little dry food in her bowl, in case she gets hungry before I have the chance to fill her toy, she rarely, if ever, touches the food in her bowl. In fact, even though she sits beside me on the couch while I fill it, she doesn't even touch the wide-open container in which I have the food, despite having it right beside her. Instead, she waits patiently for me to put the toy down on the floor for her. After all, the toy is like a giant weeble (remember those?) that dispenses food, and how much would our kids have loved that, back in the day? So, I can, quite sincerely, highly recommend this toy! It is well designed, extremely sturdy, and easy to fill. Best of all, my dog loves it! She has several puzzle toys/feeders, but this is the one that she wants to use--exclusively now--because she has not grown tired of it or bored with it. Ottimo acquisto, il mio cane si esalta e si stanca, ne consegue un prolungato riposino!! Non indicato per chi vive in appartamento dal secondo piano a salire...il rumore per i vicini di casa non sarebbe accettato! Per me ottimo acquisto!!

Ürüne bayıldım. Fiyatı pahalı ancak mama dağıtıcı alacaksanız bir tane bunu alsanız yeter. Baya dayanacak gibi. Tabii işiniz bitince kemirilmesine izin verirseniz o başka. Daha önce sert plastikli olanlardan kullandım bir tanesi köpeğimin ağzından düşünce kırıldı diğeri hala duruyor ama her ağzında gördüğümde yere geri koyuyorum. Bu ürünün ise ağız kısmı geniş ve oldukça ağır, köpeğim tam kavrayıp kaldıramıyor. Üstelik üstünü çıkarıp kullanma şansınız da var. 1 yaşında Maltipoo için Small aldım ve şuanlık çok memnunum. Tek eksisi tam sökülemediğinden yıkanırken ve mama koyarken biraz uğraş istemesi.

My chihuahua still not used to playing with it. Will try a few times and play in front of him to get him interested.

En cuanto al envío todo bien, sin problema alguno y rápido. Mi perrita recién adoptada lloraba todo el rato cada vez que yo salía de casa (aunque hubiera alguien más con ella), pero gracias a productos como este (que pueden rellenarse de comida para se entretenga en sacarla de él) dejó de hacerlo y aprendió a estar sola. Le encanta este juguete. Es una mix de podenco y como tal es muy activa tanto física como mentalmente, con lo que se lo pasa genial con el reto de tener que sustraer todos los granos de pienso. El juguete tiene dos portañuelas por las que tiene que pasar el pienso para salir, y al ser de apertura graduable puedes ajustarlas para el tamaño de la comida y para el nivel de dificultad que quieras. Además en cuanto a resistencia aguanta muchísimo, pues después de los golpes que le ha dado sigue como nuevo. En definitiva, un producto divertido, eficaz, duradero y 100% recomendado.

Köpeğim önünde bıraktığımız her şeyi parçalıyordu. Bu oyuncak sayesinde havanın kötü olduğu günler çok rahat ediyoruz. Önüne koyuyoruz hem parçalamıyor hem enerjisi atıyor. Mental olarak çok rahatlıyor.
