Fantastic map for Genealogists!! This particular USA map shows all the counties within the states, names and places them all as they exist today. It’s a critical tool for any family history sleuth. I’ve referred to it a dozen times since it arrived to verify source documents, oral history and logic relating to my ancestors and their families. It’s one thing to find a document purportedly referencing my ancestors. It’s another thing to see whether the event for the person in the document or story squares with where they were known to reside at the time given the era, the distance and the then existing transportation options. I’ve double checked possibilities and likelihoods for a number of ancestral events since my map was delivered. Its one thing to know vaguely where states lie in relationship to each, where they connect and all - but knowing where the county boundaries are can separate fact from fiction and one person with a similar name and birthdate from another. Because birth, death and land records were first kept locally at city then county level one needs to know where counties lie within state borders in order to analyze the possibility and probability that any found document pertains to our particular ancestor. This map makes this chore much easier. While it can’t illustrate county boundary line changes over time - it is still an indispensable tool for family historians. My only suggestion is that future map updates might include more river detail and lines indicating the most widely used migration routes from 1780 thru 1900. Adding these items would make a good genealogy tool an essentialgenealogy took. This map is light weight, easy to roll, not too big to handle and welllaminated

Been looking for a map that shows counties (without routes) for years. High quality, print, and color

The paper is a nice weight, it was shipped without damage and was very carefully packaged. My only complaint is that all the printing is a little blurry if you're standing close to it. A little higher resolution would be nice to clean up some of the lettering and county lines.

I really like this because it has the counties on it. It was just what I was looking for!!

I didn't like it. It was outdated and it was not accurate. I would advise other people to not purchase it. 😔👎

Really good map. Was surprised that almost every single county is labeled I missed that somehow when I bought it. Serves it's purpose
