Works great. I was expecting the entire backside to be magnetic, but there are just 4 magnets sewn in at each corner, which still works fine. The design is little too long for my dryer with the silicone iron rest, so I ended up having to fold the iron rest part over the top so the whole thing would fit on my dryer, and the silicone is double sided so it worked out well. I havent had any issues using it so far, the ironing surface is good, and it seems pretty well made. Definitely really easy to fold away and get out to use really quick when needed. It's especially convienent for people who have no space for an ironing board.

This portable ironing pad is nice quality, a nice size & a good size area to set your iron. My 12 yr old granddaughter uses it for when she’s crafting something that needs an iron instead of using a towel or something similar on the hardwood floor.

The magnets are great and stay in place when using. Great for travel and use in small spaces like a laundry room on top of the dryer for quick ironing projects

This is great for someone who doesn't have a lot of space or travels a lot! I ordered this when the rental I stayed in didn't have an iron or an ironing board. I love how the design has a rubber matting on the bottom and a spot to rest the hot iron when moving clothes. It's thick enough to not let any heat through as well! I tested it on the bed before using a table just in case and there was no heat that moved through it. It also never moved from its place as well. Overall great quality and sturdiness! I would gladly reorder if it needs replacing in the future!

This was a good price so I thought I'd give it a try. It works fine, and I like the protective silicone iron holder. My last ironing mat didn't have that cool feature. It folds up nice and compact, and fits right in a drawer

Small, light, has a silicone spot for the iron. I liked it at first but it gets SO HOT. Yes, I know I'm ironing on it. But the heat goes through it to the surface below. I was afraid I would crack my glass table so I had to put a cutting mat under it. Then my cutting mat- not made for heat- starting to curl. Be careful what you put it on.

Note: I did not get the one with magnets. I got the one with just silicone backing. I've used this once to iron 4 sheets & 14 pillow cases for a client. I love it! I didn't have any issues with it. I wanted to write a review because there's a lot of reviews here from people complaining about their tables being ruined after using it. The truth is that that was their own fault. This is a mat. Unless it's super thick, you should expect some degree of heat to go through. The material of the surface you're working on matters! I would never ever use a mat like this on a WOOD surface! Anyone should know better than that, or have tested it first. I used it on my quartz (I think) island. I've put hot pots on there before anyway, even the hot iron itself, so I know it's safe for heat. I still tested as well. With normal ironing and not letting the iron sit face down in one spot for any length of time, a very small amount of heat went through the mat to the surface. Enough for me to notice the warmth briefly before it faded away but not even close to enough to cause any damage or be considered hot. (I do wonder if this one may be better than the magnet one, based on reviews as well.) I use the iron with high steam as well, and didn't have any issues with that either. I really like this because it's a bigger surface area than a normal ironing board, so I can get more accomplished faster. Some complained about wrinkles when it arrived from being folded, but the wrinkles went away as I ironed the sheets, and didn't affect the quality of the ironing of the white sheets. I don't use the mat to stand the iron on. I just let it hang off the side of the island. When I got to the pillow cases, they were the exact size of the mat which worked out perfectly. Overall I'm very happy with this and glad I discovered it!

works well for what I needed
