Q: Why do they stop working after only a few minutes?

We had this problem after a very severe rain storm with 60 MPH winds. What we discovered is that if you carefully dissassemble the units by removing the bottom cover plate, and leaving it open for a few hours in the sun or in a warm dry area, they started working correcly, and havd worked for over a year since we did this fix. (I also notice a spider nest inside that I removed, not sure that was the issue, but don't know)

Q: What name brand speakers are in them?

I believe the brand is Victrola. There is not really any brand or markings on them except information on the bottom of each speaker about solar charging. They are just made to look like large rocks with a solar panel on top. I have had them for several months and leave them outside all the time in Ohio weather. I will take them inside for winter. They have great sound and are always charged & ready when needed. We love them!

Q: How do i get them to pair

Turn on one of the speakers then the other... they will automatically pair. Should be less than 30 feet apart.
