I have used this tool multiple times over 2 years. For occasional use this is an excellent little chainsaw and well worth the money. It is powerful enough to cut the full length of the bar and continuously without shutting off or overheating. It is far quieter than my 20” petrol and without the starting issues. It handles well, is well balanced, and easy to adjust or change the chain. The down side is the battery life lasts only 20mins if cutting continuously 10” or bigger, double the time for 6” or smaller. It is as heavy as a petrol saw, and takes 2 hours to recharge each time, longer if the batteries are still warm; also the charger is noisy. The new improved batteries give about the same power and time of use as the old ones. Overall, For regular short term use it is great, for longer use you need more batteries or a petrol saw.

It cut through a 25cm fir tree as easy as it cut through small branches. I cut all the lower branches of roughly 40 trees before the battery was low. I was surprised by how long it lasted!! My arms didn't get tired with the weight. I think it actually weighs less than my hedge trimmer. I had enough power to cut through all the branches without slowing down. Super impressed.

I have tried a few battery chainsaws and most have been returned. So far this is by far the best. It was easy to put together and the power produced is good. The 2 batterys give it a reasonable running time though they do make it heavy. Iv cut quite large trees and its worked very well. The battery charger is quite noisy but charges within about 40 minutes. I sharpen the chain after very use. Its well worth the money. Im very happy with it

This is one strong piece of machinery. Luckily I had a friend who was able to use it for me, which included putting it all together. There is no way I would have been able to do that myself. As another reviewer pointed out, it might be a good idea to require licenses for these things. In lieu of this, I would recommend that no one use this whilst alone. Most importantly, it did not come with any oil, which meant it was inoperable until some was obtained. Once it was useable, it did a good job and the battery lasted as long as was needed. How long it would have lasted beyond that, I don't know.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't have given this product any stars, but the form would not allow this. So take this as a zero star review. My original order arrived and the chainsaw was dead on arrival. Greenworks sent me a replacement, which functioned for less than 3 minutes before it failed. I am now trying to get my money back. I chose the Greenworks chainsaw because I have had experience of their garden tools in the past. I found them to be solid and reliable. However, in this instance, this was not the case. Therefore, I would not recommend this product.

So far only used it to cut up one 15-20cm branch that had fallen but it worked really well. It's a bit weird in that it sounds like an electric drill, which doesn't seem appropriate for a chain saw but it definitely did the business. It's quite heavy due to the two batteries but not ungainly. You can use the weight to help the cut. I had a petrol chainsaw but the clutch is always slipping, this is a good replacement. The batteries showed no sign of discharge after about the 15 minutes of heavy use

Easy to put together and operate. Cuts well and plenty of power but battery life is very limited to around 10 mins when using on thick logs. Batteries charge fairly quickly over a couple of hours. So fine for quick jobs but if needed continously over an extended period then spare batteries needed.

J'ai besoin d'une tronçonneuse mais je n'apprécie ni le bruit ni l'odeur d'une thermique, ni l'entretien. Je me suis donc tourné vers une machine à batteries. J'ai débité en 1 mètre aujourd'hui un arbre tombé cet hiver vraiment surpris par la rapidité et ce silence. Je ne suis pas un professionnel des tronçonneuses, j'utilise cette machine relativement peu, je commence à m'approprier son fonctionnement, les réglages, la chaîne. Je suis surpris qu'il faille limer la chaîne si souvent. Fin février 2024, j'ai débité des branches tombées et un peu humides, en longueurs 20 cm, sections 4 cm à 20 cm, environ 1/2 stère de bois, assez rapidement 30 mn en deux fois afin de recharger les batteries ce qui fait une heure. La tronçonneuse est suffisante pour mon besoin. Je remarque qu'il est important de préparer correctement son tas de bois à couper, mettre plusieurs petits troncs l'un sur l'autre bien calés afin de couper plusieurs d'un coup, personnellement j'ai trouvé cela plus efficace. Une autre fois j'ai tenté de forcer en taillant sur place un tronc d'arbre tombé, mais la machine s'est arrêtée l'effort demandé à cette machine était trop important. La tronçonneuse n'est pas faite pour de gros arbres ou alors y aller doucement avec une chaîne bien affûtée et correctement tendue. Je mets à jour 2 ans après achat, toujours au top jai acheté 2 batteries pour permettre une plus longue utilisation.

Rapport qualité/prix imbattable. Très bonne tronçonneuse qui fait merveilleusement bien son travail.

Greenworks 48V (24V x 2) Akku Kettensäge Habe meine Benzin-Kettensaege entsorgt wegen ständiger Startprobleme ! Habe heute die neue Saege zusammengebaut, sehr einfach. Kettenoel fuer den 1. SCHNITT wurde mit geliefert - also sofort einsatzbereit - nach Aufladen der AKKU s. Bin total zufrieden, fuer Haus und Garten nur zu empfehlen. Fazit: liegt gut in der Hand, sehr gute Schnittleistung, Obstbaeume (100 Jahre alt ) kein Problem. P.S. sie sieht auch gut aus.

Después de casi tres años de uso, sigue funcionando muy bien (realizando afilados después de algunos usos y cambios cada cierto tiempo de las cadenas, evidentemente). Las baterías duran para cortar bastante leña y troncos, aunque si los arboles a cortar son muy grandes, se descargan relativamente rápido. La carga de las baterías la has de realizar con margen antes de realizar los trabajos, pues pueden tardar tranquilamente una hora y media en cargar al 100%. Bien pensado el hecho de que si se ponen a cargar las baterías justo después de utilizarlas (y si están algo calientes), por seguridad, no cargan hasta que no se enfrían.
