Poly & BARK Dorsey Nightstand - Mid-Century Modern Nightstand – Solid Wood Bedside Table with 2 Drawers, Acorn Walnut Finish, 23.5" Tall

This is a very nice nightstand, good quality and reasonably priced. It is not solid wood unless you consider plywood solid wood. However, it is high quality plywood, with a real wood veneer, which isn't a bad thing. Quality solid wood would not be this price. A lot of effort was put into making this look like a solid piece of real wood, not to be deceptive, but to make it look like a decent quality piece of furniture, which it does. Not an expensive piece of furniture, but a good quality item. I noticed the plywood on the sides of the drawers, I'll include a photo. Also I noticed that the edges in front of the top, and sides, the part that slants inward towards the drawers, had some sort of finish or veneer on it that is not wood. But it looks good. The whole thing is not MDF particle board pretending to be a good piece of furniture. It doesn't look cheap. I'm into wood, and have made of a study of it for furniture because its interesting to me. That's why I noticed these things. All in all, this is worth the money. The mid-century look gives it a 'vintage' flavor, without the accompanying well used look that furniture from that era that was not expensive, end up looking. I like it and am glad I got it. Money well spent. Would recommend it for a piece of decent furniture that is inexpensive.

Love love love. Super easy to assemble, simply attached legs with a screwdriver. Solid, high quality, smooth drawers. Beautiful, affordable and seems like they'll last forever. They're on the smaller side as indicated by the dimensions....the drawers don't hold a ton which i expected. Perfect for my kids who don't have much to store at bedside. Can't go wrong these this nightstand. Good bang for my buck in my opinion!

We just received nightstand. The item was packaged very well. It is a beautiful piece and it was very easy to set up. I liked the look and the quality and the wood construction of it that I am considering buying another for my Airbnb!

You will love this night stand/side table. It’s solid wood. The drawers go in and out smoothly and it is true to the mid century modern look if that’s what you’re going for however the simple style and lines are complimentary to most any existing vibe. If you happen to want a lot of room for junk on top, this isn’t it - it is petite. But the two drawers keep all that stuff tucked away. I have a small lamp, a hideous CPAP machine, my glasses and my book on top of it and all of that fits comfortably without looking cluttered.

Okay this really is a 5-star item... Just wanted to start that out by saying the tables are beautiful. Looking at him you would think they were from an expensive furniture store. I bought two tables and they came packaged so perfectly, they were tight in the box nothing could have shifted, everything was so snug and well packed nothing in the box could have moved. The first table went together perfectly. The second table when I pulled the leg part out of the box had a distinct crack all the way through it obviously where they notched it out split the wood, It was in no way the kind of damage that would happen from shipping. That's why I took off a star because it didn't happen in shipping It was packed that way I noticed it immediately it was double split on one side and split all the way through to the other, So whoever passed it off is okay knew it was a split piece of wood. Still the tables are gorgeous and I didn't want to go through all the trouble to send one back. I have company coming and needed to get the guest room finished so I got out my wood glue and a vise grip, managed to get a little glue inside the crack and viced it overnight, And put it together. I imagine this was just a one-off piece that got through inspection So I feel bad about taking off the star. If you're thinking about these tables don't hesitate! They're a great price, simple to assemble, and are perfect for a guest room. The size is not really big so make sure you measure carefully and that the height is right for you, works good for low beds....would not work great for high beds! But don't let That one crack stop you from buying, You will enjoy these tables!

Amazing quality - feels very solid and sturdy. The nightstands were super easy and quick to assemble and the drawers are soft close which is a very premium touch for the price. Super happy with my purchase and the value for money on these! Would highly recommend.

It’s true, the two roomy drawers have the SLIGHTEST amount of “stick” but it’s not worth foregoing the product over. You need only to attach the legs with the provided allen wrench and I think we just needed a Philips-head screwdriver. There’s a ton of Styrofoam used for packing, but you want it secure, of course (bummer it’s not recyclable, but 🤷🏻‍♀️). I did a ton of measuring but didn’t think about the proportions in relation to the bed (it looks a bit dwarfed, though it is the same actual height) but that’s a NOT a problem with the item. (Just consider that, and do your measurements more carefully than I did.) These are keepers. The stuff I have on the floor at the moment doesn’t help the look! These are keepers, no question. We got two, and the drawers are roomy and tall…just photos and stacked books and lamp and a candle on my night table now, and I don’t have to look at my husband’s crap on the dresser! A little expensive BUT does not look or feel cheapo. I’m happy overall.
