MultiQuick 5 Hand Blender, w/Beaker and Whisk, 350W, Dual Speed

I have wanted an immersion blender forever. I love using this one. Simple to use and easy to clean.

I hemmed and hawed about which immersion blender to get and researched several. I really wanted cordless too but I really don't mind the cord. This blender works really well. It's very powerful. It's easy to remove the blender piece from the I and hold part. I like the 2 buttons only, keeps it super simple. I blended a large pot of simmered vegetables within 5 minutes maybe.

We are extremely happy with our purchase of the Braun MultiQuick 5 Immersion Hand Blender with Dual Speed. It is lightweight, portable, and very easy to use. The attachments are practical and make it incredibly versatile for a variety of cooking tasks. Braun is known for its durability, and the thoughtful design of this blender really shows. It feels sturdy and well made. We purchased it on sale during Prime Day, which made the price even better, an excellent value for the quality. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to add a reliable and versatile tool to their kitchen.

I bought this because NY Times recommended it as a "budget friendly" immersion blender. The lower price does come with a sacrifice in performance but I knew that getting into this and was happy to compromise and save quite a lot of money. I'm happy with the product, it's powerful, easy to clean, easy to use, the cord is long, it doesn't overheat or smell bad after using for 20 minutes straight. The only reason for four stars is because the whisk attachment definitely falls short in performance. Unless you're using the plastic container that came with the product, the whisk is too small to get you very far. The whisk is flimsy, made from very thin metal. The plastic container that comes with this scratches really easily when using the blender attachment. I have reason to believe I shredded small bits of the plastic into my food. Just don't use the container that comes with it. Plant some scallions in there on your window sill instead. I didn't buy this for the whisk or the plastic container so the immersion blender is fine but perhaps sell the blender solo for slightly less money if the extras aren't of the same quality. Those are unnecessary considering I won't be using them based on their performance. You can make smoothies with this, it works better than my Osterizer. You can make custard and gravy and bechemel sauce in a hot pan over the stove top with this without damaging it. IMPORTANT MAINTENANCE TIP: Use a toothbrush with dish soap to clean the blender blade! All blenders need to be cleaned with a small brush. It's the best thing you'll ever do for a blender.

Solid design. Not too noisy. Better than a blender but that is my preference.

I ordered this immersion blender based upon America’s Test Kitchen’s recommendation and I have been very happy. I like that there are no holes on the sides of the blade guard. My old immersion blender would shoot liquid everywhere if I accidentally tipped the side vents just a bit too far or if the mixer was lifted slightly too far. I have not had any similar results with the Braun immersion blender. The motor is strong and efficient. I used it to grind chunks of ham and Koji rice to make a pork garum. There was some liquid also involved, but the immersion blender puréed the meat and rice with surprising ease. I haven’t used the whisk yet, but have no doubt it will work great.

Works well and easy to turn on and off but as an older woman with weak hands, I do have a little trouble removing the blender or beater.

Me gusta esta batidora por lo práctica que es para hacer licuados!. Con la licuadora pierdo mucho tiempo en limpiarla y ocupa mucho más espacio, en cambio, con esta batidora manual la limpio en segundos y puedo guardarla en el cajón junto con los cubiertos. Además, es mucho más durable, segura y funcional que otras marcas que conozco a través de amigos y familiares. Maravilloso producto!.

I'm really enjoying this thing. It's simple, does what it's supposed to do, and didn't cost a lot of money. Bingo.

Very happy with this purchase: a good basic blender with the essential basic features and attachments, and so far has worked very well for all applications. The 'bell' around the blender blade is excellent innovation: keeps the liquid from surging up the sides of the container so you can use a smaller container; and made of metal so that it won't break or age over time. [Our old immersion blender had none of the above -- on its last use I ended up with chunks of plastic in the soup :-( ]. I use this to froth my Bulletproof coffee in the morning and can blend it right in the large wide-mouth thermal mug. Excellent for smoothing pasta sauce so the kids don't notice the carrots! We've always had good luck with Braun brand and this blender seems to continue that trend.

Es muy buena compra, funciona perfectamente, lo único que no me gustó fue que el recubrimiento de plastico que tiene el cuerpo del motor, en donde se sujeta, tiene una superficie que no es tan agradable al tacto, al final ese detalle no es de mi gusto, pero todo lo demás es bueno, lo volvería a comprar

Muy buen producto, muele y bate los alimentos muy bien, me gustaron mucho los accesorios que me son muy indispensables y funcionan muy bien, es un gran aliado en mi cocina, sobre todo muy practico, el material se ve que es muy resistente
