The entire metal part where you hold to grind spins, causing the grinder to not grind unless you are holding onto the thin strip of black at the bottom. (It still worked this way, but was annoying and hard to use.)However, After just a couple uses the pepper grinder Broke. A black metal ring fell out while grinding and it no longer grinds.It has been very disappointing.

Product is nice a sturdy. Comes packaged in a nice sturdy box as well. The grinders are glass. Nice wide opening and Easy to fill with salt and pepper. The grinder does a great job in grinding the salt crystals or coarse pepper. Nice and stylist to add to any kitchen decoration. Would recommend this salt and pepper grinder to anyone.I received this product as a free or discounted product in exchange for an honest unbiased review.

The set itself is is very nice I was able to get fine grind , but could not get the pepper to do a course grind, which is what I needed.

Decent salt and pepper grinders. I give 4* because the pepper gets stuck sometimes and requires a little extra elbow grease. Other than that a pretty good set for the price and I like the fact that they are glass so you can see how much is left in the canister.

one used for salt fell apart and no longer will grind . in less then a 30 days of use !! equals JUNK !!

Both grinders"broke" first day. The thin metallic sleeves that you grasp to turn the grinder became dislodged and spin freely making it difficult to operate. Must squeeze very hard to make them grind. poor construction.

Very nice set. Good quality materials and mill mechanisms work great, too.

Mixed review on this, good price, aesthetically pleasing, nice capacity. When using, unless it is held a specific way, it just spins around and doesn't grind. Works good when held properly though. Just aggravating.
