Did exactly what it was supposed to do; a cheap and fun "Hey you rolled out the red carpet!" effect. Brilliant red in color, quite long. It is made of that paper like cloth material, not "carpet" at all. It won't stand up to many uses, but...if you want a carpet, spent 20x more for a real-no kidding carpet! It comes on a roll, so you can just roll it out. The other comments about how sticky the tape is -- absolutely true! Having read those remarks, I just peeled off maybe 1/4 of the backing to expose just a little bit of the tape, and it worked fine. After the grand entrance, I rolled it back up neatly on the roll, stored it, and with the left over tape I can use it "like new" at least four more times. Again, this is for the effect of "ha ha a red carpet!" you can walk on it, but it isn't for heavy use at all. Great value for the price; the price is good for fun.

It was the perfect length and the color was great! The material is like a thin felt. It worked for our pre-k red carpet party but by the end it was getting a little torn up. Adults might not be so hard on it. It wasn’t overly expensive, but for an item we only got to use once due to tearing I was a little disappointed.

If you are looking to buy something for the "red carpet" treatment, this is a good product. It is very thin and the material is inexpensive, but for the price I was impressed. The carpet comes with double sided tape on the bottom at both ends and along the sides. We cut the carpet in half and used half on concrete outside the door and half on carpet inside. The double sided tape wasn't perfect so we used clear masking tape to hold it down. There were 30 people coming and going over it all night and it didn't snag or tear and held up quite well. We took it off the next day and it looked just as good as when we put it down. Yes, you can buy more expensive looking red carpets, but if you just want the look without the cost this is a great product.

We were having a "Hollywood Red Carpet" party for my daughter's 11th birthday party and needed a red carpet for our front entry way of our house. After reading the reviews, I decided to get this one. I am so glad we did... I was really impressed with the quality of the product. It comes with double sided tape, but I did not want to use that on my laminate wood floors, so I used green painters tape to tape the bottom side down. The carpet didn't move and even when all the girls "walked the red carpet" it stayed in perfect condition. This comes rolled up and my fear was that when I rolled it out it wouldn't stay down, it laid perfectly on the floor. I also thought this would be a one time use item, but after the party, I was able to roll it back up and will be able to use it again. I would highly recommend for anyone needing that "red carpet touch" for their next party.

This product was used as a walkway for the bride at our recent at home wedding. It is thin cheap plastic with a slick down side and a velour like walking surface. It has 3" tape patches about 2' apart on each side to secure it to the floor and avoid a slip. When the runner was taken up, surprisingly, a thick red tape residue remained on our tile floor. Luckily it did not on the carpeted area. The residue had to remain on the tile flooring through out our wedding as it would not come off easily. The next day I was able to scrap if off with the aid of GooGone and a sharpend putty knife. This was not a quick or easy process. It's amazing the retailer continues to carry this miserable product. Avoid it and this retailer, they clearly have zero customer appreciation.

The red carpets made my Broadway themed event look fantastic!! The quality isn't the greatest (a thin cloth-like material), but they did the job. We placed one outside and kept it down with red duck tape. We placed the other inside and used the adhesive that's on the back of the carpet. As others have commented, the adhesive remained on the floor (we have good quality bamboo flooring) when picking up the carpet. The whole process of removing the adhesive is very time consuming, but we found the best way to get it done. Gently scrape up as much of the adhesive with a metal scraper, held on an angle. Then spray a little bit of WD40 on the adhesive and rub off with a paper towel (it actually comes off pretty easily). Next, use anything that cleans up grease and oil. We sprayed Lysol kitchen cleaner on the oily sections and wiped with a paper towel. Then I used my Bona floor cleaner to wash the floor. It was back to normal in about 30-45 minutes. I was really impressed with the quality of the material for such a low price. It held up to over 125 children walking on it during a red-carpet themed event. It isn't very wide, so I'd advise getting two and putting them together. Also, the adhesive on the back is very strong, so I wouldn't recommend using the built-in adhesive strips it on wood floors. We used red masking tape, and it worked well. Overall, a great product.

Bought this runner for my daughter's sweet sixteen old Hollywood themed birthday party. Held up beautifully! Heavy enough that it didn't trip people as they were walking in and came with adhesive strips already attached to secure it to the floor. A siper-cute accessory decoration with functionality! Photo above is not great but might give some ideahow we used it.

This item is a great little cheap disposable item... When it arrived it was what I'd paid for, nothing more, nothing less.. don't be deceived when opening, it actually looks the part when put down... Did the job perfectly...

Very good and cheap runner. Will look excellent for a party we are having.
