It's Chrome and it hasn't broke yet.
It's a chrome trailer hitch ball. It does what Chrome trailer hitch balls are supposed to do.

Worked Perfectly
This fit perfectly, Worked great. Gave me the load capacity to tow a U-Haul Auto Transport with a 3,300 lb. car with no issues. Nice and shinny, no rust, towed the car perfectly.
