Perfect for getting measurements of odd locations and transferring to installed item like wood or flooring.

Bought as a Christmas gift for a handyman who does trim work and he says it's come in very useful on a couple jobs already

Great tool for flooring or anything where you need to do accurate cut-outs for pipes/conduit coming out of floors and ceilings and for bottom of door jambs when doing vinyl or ceramic tile floors.

brought this to use it for installing a laminate flooring but it is not as effective as this product is a bit too short when you use it against the wall near the doors to get the exact shape. it will be great -if this product is two to three inches longer but it will work if you don't need the exact lenght.
