I bought this to keep my lower leg dry in the shower after a serious injury (spitting cobra bite to ankle) which required significant reconstructive plastic surgery and skin grafts to fix. After the skin graft, my leg had to be kept dry for several weeks. But I still wanted to wash daily. This does the job brilliantly, is easy to apply (though not alone - you do need someone to help you!) and is reliable for multiple re-use. The plastic is strong and good quality. I am a slim size 12 and the cuff was great in terms of sizing: well sealed around my leg, but never uncomfortable. The cuff is made of soft rubber and feels easily adjustable. To keep the skin graft on my lower leg protected, I needed help from someone else to hold the top (stretchy) cuff open while putting it on or taking it off, so that the cuff didn’t ever touch the injured part of my leg. MUCH easier, quicker and far more reliable than wrapping your limb in a bin bag and sticking it to your skin with tape (which is what I was doing before). Would thoroughly recommend to anyone trying to wash, but still keep an injured limb completely dry at the same time after surgery.

Great product I wouldn't be with out this! I'm a week in after ankle surgery and have a full cast to the knee. I've had this before and showering was always a nightmare so happy I brought this, so easy to use and loads of room too. It can be a little bit tight to get round the cast at the ankle bend but it's fine if someone can help you. I did see the reviews about the membrane spilting but so far with daily gentle use it's be great!

Bought this for my mother to wear in the shower while she has a dressing on her leg. Not the most comfortable things, but work REALLY well. Leg stays dry & allows showering without worrying about dressing getting wet. This has a “hoop” around the top, which makes it easier to put on & take off. Used now for a few weeks & thoroughly recommend

I broke my foot and had surgery on it so had a plaster cast put on my lower leg (the whole of my calf and majority of my foot). The doctor said I had to keep it dry in the shower/bath. I bought this and it's brilliant. It works perfectly, keeping my cast completely dry, meaning I don't need to worry at all about getting it wet when I'm washing and just makes life with a cast that little bit easier. I do always need help getting it on and off and can sometimes hurt my toes slightly when I put it on but it's really good and I definitely recommend.

I know this product has to be tight at the top but as this is for men or women the top is far to tight for a man who has 25 staples in their leg and very painful and sore to pull it up . There must be a way for it to be lose and tighten it yourself .

I had a bad open fracture on my toe and was told not to get wet due to risk of infection. I was nervous using this the first time but not only managed to get on without it touching a very painful injury it also let in zero water. Have used it several times since and still no water inside. Would confidently recommend this to those In similar situation for a worry free shower.

Metro ochenta mido, primer día de post operatorio es amplia , ajusta sin asfixiar arriba , tiene forma de bota amplia abajo. Cabe una escayola, o una bota de Walker corta. (también decir que tengo un muslo "normativo ni demasiado delgado ni gordezuelo) No se cuela agua...la comodidad de bañarme sin necesidad de ayuda las veces que quiero al día con éste calor, no está escrita. Por lo que valen un par de mojitos y una caña, amortizadísimos esos veintipico euros en el mes y medio o más que la voy a necesitar. Si os operan o enyesan ni lo dudéis, cogedla. En niños imagino que con piernas más cortas, con ayuda y sus muletitas hasta a la playa o la piscina un rato podrían ir. Y como traumatóloga sugiero igual que NO camineis sobre ella (es silicona) y que el yeso se cubra con una vénda de tensoplast o crepe para que las irregularidades de la escayola no la dañen por dentro. Puede durar un mes o más, ya veremos. 100% recomendable por lo que la llevo usando.

Comprato per frattura alla caviglia con gesso fino al ginocchio. Semplice da usare senza aiuto, il foro è abbastanza grande da far entrare la gamba senza problemi, la guaina è molto aderente e non permette l’entrata dell’acqua nemmeno con getto d’acqua forte. Lo uso da quasi un mese e funziona perfettamente. Consigliato se vuoi romperti un’arto ma rimanere profumato.

Der Duschschutz hält, was er verspricht. Die Membran mit Loch ist ziemlich stabil und hält nun schon mehrere Wochen bei fast täglicher Benutzung. Bisher ist es wasserfest und auch, wenn man etwas im Wasser steht, hält alles dicht. Solange man es nicht drauf anlegt, dass von oben etwas reinläuft. Bei normalem, auch längerem Duschen ist aber auch das sehr dicht. Ich wünschte, ich hätte es schon früher entdeckt, es macht das Duschen mit Wunde oder Verband deutlich einfacher.
