I would say this is the best case for the Apple airpods max (including the original one). You don't need the original case to switch the headphones off/on. The only issue I see here is the size, its big. you can say vertically you are adding 10cm and some width horizontally. I understand they had to do it for the padding cushion, but that makes it less compact

This is a large case, but I love it, everything about it. This was delivered to my front door, and forgot it was sitting outside. I went out to run errands, and actually stepped on this "envelope", the case the only thing inside. I crushed this, was quite upset. I stepped onto it, heard it crush, and quickly stepped off, but the damage was done. I tossed it inside to run errands, then came back later to check the damages. Opening, I expected the worst, however, was very surprised. I wouldn't suggest doing this again, especially with anything inside, but the case stood up to crushing 200 lbs of weight. No creases, no wrinkles, no breaks, the inside fully intact. Great condition. No issues zipping or unzipping, and no soft spots, now that my headphones are stored inside. It survived the accidental test. There is room here created for unboxing the headphones. Headphones come with a magnetic case, and while you do not need the case to fit here, this does give you room easily if you want to keep that case. At your discretion. The inside of this does have a double flap to lift up to store the headphones and keep them in the "off" position. The center of this is big enough to curl the recharge cord around itself and fit here. I also have a USB-C to USB extender for those charging points that do not use USB-C. This connected to the cord fits in here nicely. Dual zipper, and carrying handle. A very nice product. For the cost of the headphones, it needs a protective case of sorts to travel. While I didn't intend to step on the case, this case really isn't designed for that. It is a hard case, but not for weight, simply for simple crushing, if placed in a suitcase, backpack, or other travel compartment. This case will do fine. And the size is simply by design of the headphones. If you have these, you know they don't fold, the ears rotate in to magnetize and turn off. And this fits the exactly. A perfect fit. I ended up with black headphones, the only thing immediately available. So I got the case the same color, simply to match. As you choose. And the headphones don't struggle to find a place here, close, and zip up. An excellent product. And for the price you paid for the headphones, this is but a simple expense to keep them safe and secure. I highly recommend.

Little large but functional value for your money

Leí malas opiniones, que venía en mal estado, que venía usado. Pero no. En mi experiencia venía nuevo, sellado. Leí que según no cabían los AirPods con el estuche, pero si caben y cierra bien. Es un producto un poco caro pero lo veo de buena calidad y cumple con lo que promete.

The case serves its purpose well. It may not be very rigid, but the internal padding should provide adequate protection for the headphones. The silicone covers on the headband and ear cups fit snugly and effectively protect the headphones from dirt and scratches.
