ROR Residual Oil Remover 1 oz. (Pack of 3)

I have been using ROR to clean camera lenses and filters for more than a decade. It works great with micro fiber cloths and does not leave behind any residue so you can also use it to clean your electrical contacts, screens and glasses too. You just use a drop or two on a lens so this small bottle will last a long time and is a good value. By the way, if you do notice streaking or haze on your lenses after using this, it probably means your micro fiber cloths needs to be washed using dishwashing soap. Do not put your lens cleaning cloths in the laundry with your clothes. The enzymes from clothes detergent stay on the cloths and cause streaking.

I've been using this for many years. I generally use a lens pen after blowing the lens off; but if there is anything visible after that, this is my secret weapon. A tiny amount on lens tissue, or, now that they've gotten much less expensive, sensor pads. What looked clean before is suddenly cleaner. I boughht these bottles for our laser cutter at work, to clean the lens on it—again, what seemed "clean" before is suddenly performing slightly better.

ROR I understand means residual oil remover. I used to use it on coated camera lens cause it was safe for optical coasting like on sun glasses, camera lenses, binoculars and my Apple cell phone. It does a beautiful job can’t recommend it enough!!

Wonderful stuff. This is my quick cleaner for goop that gets on telescope eyepieces when I'm doing public outreach. Not suitable for final cleaning but it will remove almost anything, including pine pollen. Final cleaning with methanol or acetone recommended, this stuff often leaves a residue but the nasty goop is cleaned off.

I purchased this because of reviews I saw on YouTube and I have to say that they clean my camera lenses very nicely.

One bottle arrived with the lid slightly loose causing some of the product to leak in the package. Otherwise, ROR is a great product.
