This cable worked very well when I first bought it 2 months ago, but has since deteriorated to the point that it has limited use. I use it at bedside to charge my Android over night, as the cord is long enough that I can also use the phone while it's charging. However, after 2 months of nightly use, the end of the cord that inserts into the phone is too loose to stay in the phone. I have other cords that still fit tightly after years of more vigorous use so have to conclude this is a flaw of this product. So while the cord charged very well, because of the connection problem I can't recommend it.
