Why is this $30 more on amazon than your website?

IS the center hole for tapping M5 or M6 thread?

The center hole diameter is 5.0 mm, which is suitable for M6 or 1/4"-20 thread. Depending on the tap you are using, it may require pre-drilling before thread tapping.

How much weight can these hold?

As a long straight piece with weight in the middle and supported only on the ends, it will bend - but support - me (220 lbs) But this is too complex a topic to give any simple answer - these sticks of aluminum are only 3/4” x 3/4” - and very strong in tension or compression (standing up like a leg)… and in compression could hold a lot of weight if held perpendicular to the load and braced so as not to buckle with mild side-loading. For the real answer consult the engineering tables for 20/20 aluminum extrusion - but if you don’t understand the simple part above, get a few pieces and test your design… or go bigger I am building all the framing for my adventure van with this profile (20mm/20mm) up to 8 ft long - in tension, braced, and as tracks… bed rails and parts required to be extra strong get 20/40 (3/4” x 1.5””) - have had no part not strong enough with regular bracing and/or 1/4” plywood skins (1/2” Baltic birch for the bed platform) I would have used 20/20 as the cross-frame for the bed, but I chickened out and used 20/40 The crazy guys use 80/80 - totally overkill - but not going to fail, no question…. I chose 20/20 and happy with strength and less weight

I wish I'd bought more

The extrusions are really nice - the andizing is very tough. I'd never seen such a good price though, and I deeply regret not buying more as the price went up drastically after I got them. Great product, great seller.

Excellent Quality. Not slotted for V-wheels and Cheaper on Website

The extrusions are well made, they arrived in good condition with no warping. Each piece was individually wrapped so the anodized coating was perfect. Some things to note: As others have said, these extrusions do not have the bevel show in the diagram, making them incompatible with v-wheel rollers used for 3-D printers/CNC's etc. If you want to use these for that purpose, then you will have to buy linear bearings or linear rails, and secure those to the extrusions with T-slot nuts. Also, the extrusions are significantly cheaper to buy directly from their website, even with shipping. I live in the SE United States and it only took a few business days to arrive.

THIS IS THE BEST PRICE 2020 EXTRUSIONS YOU WILL FIND!!!

I was shocked when I first came across this 2020 aluminum extrusion. Do your research- a lot of metal suppliers charge an arm and a leg for it. I didn't need the full 10 meters (32.8 feet) this bundle came with, but fortunately a friend of mine split the cost and aluminum extrusions, so we each paid $43 each for 5m (16.4ft). I'm looking forward to building my own lid/enclosures for my Creality Ender 5 and SainSmart Coreception 300 3D printers.
