Aluminum was the wrong choice for this
The tip bent the first time I tried to use it to untie a weave. The idea of the tool is great. The tip is FAR too narrow for it to work as a true marlinspike. Stainless or titanium would work a whole lot better, but for $20 what are you gonna do?

Good Product for Paracord
I use this when I finish paracord projects for many different things. Good purchase.

Tip (the point) metal is way too soft
The tip is made of way to soft metal. I only use it with paracord but noticed the tip was bent at what looked like a 20 -30 degree angle. So when I proceeded to straighten it with a fine nose pliers I found that it could be bent back and forth with very little pressure. It almost feels soft like solder. Its likely some soft alloy. The rest of the tool is good.
