is this shade pretty transparent with light? does it block the light from the bulb or does it kind of glow with the light? I'm looking for a transpar

I would say this shade glows with the light. You can't see the bulb through the shade - if that's what you mean by transparent - but the effect is very nice and the light given off is quite bright. This is a quality lamp shade and I highly recommend it.

Where are these shades manufactured?

I bought it so long ago. I honestly don't remember. There is no tag on the shade itself.

Do you have a similar style 17 or 18 inches high

This is currently not offered in those size options.

what size is the harp that comes with this shade - The ivory shade that is 10" tall?

The shade doesn't come with a harp.
