Amazing upgrade compared to MX-4 or Thermal Grizzly!
tldr: Amazing thermal paste compared to MX-4 or Thermal grizzly. Dropped both of my systems temps down:-5800x from 85-90c down to 75c-5900x from 80-85c down to 70cI have bought several different thermal paste and i can tell you this is one of the best! I have tried in two different systems, one has a Ryzen 7 5800x (Known to be very hot) and the other was Ryzen 9 5900x.Previously i have tried thermal grizzly, bought one batch from Amazon and another from third party. Both batch had poor results imo, even after giving it a month or so to 'cure' and repaste... Temperature was no different between both batch, if not worse than my MX-4, so was definitely not worth the premium. Also the paste dried out quite quickly...Now i will give the benefit of doubt that it might have been fake with third party, but i also bought directly from Amazon and same result. Temps for 5800x was hitting 85-90c long session. I have tried repasting several time, cleaning using lint free paper and solvent so made no difference and gave up entirely on thermal grizzly...Went on to replace with MX-4 which had identical, sometime better performance. The 5800x would run 80-85C on 5800x and the 5900x would drop to 75-80C.... So a 5C drop from Thermal Grizzly and one thing i noticed was the thermal paste did not dry and kept its consistency. In the summer, this would make my room even more hot so i thought why not try either the MX-5 or stick with good old Noctua NT-H2. I noticed the MX-5 was back in stock directly from the manufacturer (Arctic GmBH) so went straight for that since it was cheaper than Noctua's.Pro: What a huge difference across both systems! 5800x runs at 70-75C (still hot but much better and this CPU is known to run extremely hot) whereas the 5900x now runs 70-72C, both with PBO and long session gaming/benchmark. I thought it must have been a fluke so i gave it almost a month of continous usage everyday and still consistent! Probably the best thermal paste i have bought and tried, well worth the money!*Room temp between the grizzly and mx4 test has been 24-28c, the MX-5 still performed the same at a room temp of 30c during the heatwave! No difference to fan-set up or gpu, dust has always been cleaned and so on.Cons: The thermal paste does feel thick and difficult to spread but I had no issues using 'pea' or 'x' method. Could use the spread method which people have been recommending with this paste, but i have terrible spread uniformity so gave up on that and im quite happy with the current temps. Would definitely recommend and make sure to buy directly from the manufacturer instead of a third party to avoid counterfeit or whatnot.

Fantastic Thermal Paste!!!
Works very well, had ample paste in the 4g tube to do CPU, GPU, and various components.Spreads easily and cools very well.I am very happy with the product and will definitely buy again and highly recommend it.

Good value
Good item and easy to use. I took a different approach to most rfecommendations by spreading it on the bottom of the heatsink instead of on the cpu (masked the area with tape and spread a thin layer exactly where the cpu fits). It's working perfectly with no overspill.

Odd consistency, it does perform though
I put this paste on my new 5800X which is paired with an NZXT X63 280mm AIO. It went on very badly, putting a pea sized blob in the middle of the CPU heat spreader it felt rigid and like sticky blutac. Very unusual compared with the Noctua paste used before which was wet and smooth. However, having read a little and watched a few more reviews they did suggest it was very hard to spread. Having put it on and clamping the block on it does work, no crazy temps so it must be as designed/intended. 23C idle and around 45-55 on BF2042. Although I do run it at 4K so this is more GPU heavy than at 1440p when the CPU would get more heavily utilised. Blender multicore test ran for 10 min at 70-75C, good result considering the 5000 series is considered to run hot.

Dramatic temp drop
I have a four year old laptop with a GeForce 1070 unit which has required annual replacement of the cooler master maker nano whatever material. On a fresh install I’d be running at about 70 degrees. I know it needed replacing when the gpu temps hit 90 degrees. So after three goes at this I got fed up and looked for something else. I’ve just applied the mx-5. I got the kit with the spatula but the spatula is a waste of time. Application via the syringe is easy enough. Because I’m in a laptop with an integrated heat sink I have to do the cpu and the gpu at the same time. And I can’t apply significant pressure when spreading the material as the internal support in the laptop is a bit flexible. Anyway I applied an amount, dropped the heat sink on, gave it a wiggle to spread. Lifted it and applied a bit more mx-5 to the areas that were still bare. Then back on with the heat sink and do it all up. So does it work? Blimey yes it does! Game temps dropped to a peak of 71 degrees compared to the failed cooler master stuff. The machine has never run this cool. Wish I’d had this before. Highly recommend this.

Seems to work fine
I think it's slightly runnier than some compounds I've used but I dunno if that's difference between an mx-4 to mx-5, or just a difference in brand, but its nothing bad, if anything its easier to spread. And I say slightly, its not alot different.Other than that as far as I am aware everything is working hunky dory and I've had my pc running for a couple of months now since I used it :) I'm happy with it and I would think most normal users would be too.I hope this helps :)

Lumpy and needs to be mixed
I usually use MX4 paste but thought I would give this MX5 a go as the spec is a little better. I don't know if this tube is faulty or what, but it is very lumpy and VERY sticky, almost like glue. It is like it has not been mixed properly as there are very runny watery parts and very thick parts that don't really want to come out of the syringe and I needed to mix it ON the CPU lid for ages until I was happy it would have a consistent thickness across the CPU. I might just be unlucky so check the other reviews. It's doing its job though.
