Camay Classic Bar Soap, Rose Essence, 4.98 Oz Each Soap, 6 Bar Soaps.

I’ve used Camay on and off for years, and it’s still one of my favorite bar soaps. It leaves my skin feeling clean without feeling overly dry, and the classic fragrance is fresh, pleasant, and long-lasting. The bars are a good size, lather well, and last a reasonable amount of time. I was happy to find this multipack on Amazon, and it offers great value for the price. I’ll definitely continue buying it.

I'm in my mid 70's and Camay soap has been around as long as I can remember. Its slogan was "The soap for beautiful women," and I recall my late mother using it in the '50s. I guess the slogan fit as Mom had won the Interisland Beauty Queen title in the '30s lol. Well I'm a guy and I love this soap. It has a light floral scent that I don't find feminine at all...and it dissipates quickly. It's a larger 5-ounce bar that lathers well and is harder than most, so it stands up well to shower spray. The part I like best is that for a "beauty" bar, it rinses off clean, but without drying my skin...I like squeaky clean and really, REALLY hate soaps and shower gels that leave a slippery film that doesn't rinse off.Generations for almost a century have used Camay. If you think about vintage products that have stood the test of time, Camay is one of the most iconic bath products of all time. I remember clearly the old wrapper with an ivory cameo (inspiration for "Camay"?) of a woman in profile. If they brought this wrapper back, it would complete the nostalgia perfectly.This is a great soap at a very great price...$5.30 for 6 large bars...less than 90 cents a bar! This will be my go-to shower bar from now.EDIT 1/2/24: After using this soap for over 3 months, I found it to be the longest lasting bar soap I've ever used. It's the slowest to wear (wash?) down...it just lasts and lasts. Combined with the fact that they are larger than most bath bars and still priced less than 90 cents, it's likely the best bar soap value on Amazon. ツ

I remembered my mother using this when I was a child. I didn't care for it then. However I saw some in a bodega, then I decided to hit up Amazon. I see why my mother loved it so much!! Great smell, terrific lather, my daughter even loves it!! Will definitely purchase again!!

My new favorite soap! I used to be loyal to dove but I'm the Mom of a family of six and we go through soap and dove really is not that moisturizing.. Since we go through some much soap hand washing, we use bar soap 🧼. It irritated me that dove is supposed to moisturize yet I would be reaching for lotion every time I washed my hands with dove ! I do not need to use lotion after using camay on my hands becuase my skin does not feel dry and right. Only complaint is this soap is so good and powerful at washing off ordor it's not for very sensitive areas ( lady bits) . That's the only place I still use dove. Camay does not smell like real roses but it has a clean unisex floral smell that is very lovely. The bar lasts so long in the shower. The value and strength of this soap is amazing. I will now be loyal to this bar.

I brought this soap only because of the scent. No, it doesn't smell like roses but overall the soap does smell good and it a nice soap. No difference in any other soap, really. It's not a waste of money but I didn't smell roses. It's a nice scent but not a rose scent.

I have a wash routine when it comes to soap: antibacterial to get my skin cleaned followed by a moisturizing bar to polish my skin. When I used antibacterial soap alone, I was dryer than the Sahara. Adding this bar of moisture not only completes the shower, but it also refreshes my skin. My skin is moisturized, feels great, has a light floral scent, and is highly effective regarding softness of the skin barrier. I feel incomplete if I’m in a rush and don’t use it, therefore I am no longer in a rush. I look forward to bathing- not to cover up body odor but instead to naturally cleanse my vessel for ultimate focus. The scent will grow on you once you reap the benefits of pure softness, especially if your water is hard.

I love this soap. I've never used it before but I was curious so I tried it. It smells a little like roses, but mostly it reminded me of a swimming pool. Then I realized it's really suntan lotion that it favors. A slight cocoa butter vibe. I use it on my face, so it feels clean and not greasy. I use it in the body but I use deodorant right after so I don't know how well it covers up put smells. But they so seem more fresh than when I used Ivory as my body soap ... When I pick it up the next time I'm the shower, the bar is dry. No mushiness.

I had hoped these would smell like l remembered from my childhood, but no, they do not. The scent is possibly Rose with a heavy layer of Carnation. Just a big no! I am going to attempt to de-escalate the overpowering smell by pouring baking soda over them in a closed container. If that doesn't work l will open them all and leave them outside in the open air until it fades. The soap itself is a nice size, creamy, easy to lather and rinse off. Nice, if not for that smell.

Pls don't buy this soap 🙏🏽
