Pipe Tobacco Leather Pouch Combo - Authentic Full Grade Leather - Black

My husband likes being able to get his pipe, tobacco, cleaners and lighter in the pouch. Fits in his pocket. Nice material.

The bag itself appears well constructed, and the sheep leather is quite supple. (I put some leather conditioner that I use on gun holsters on mine before I started using it, and it really brought out the color and shine.) It fits one pipe snugly in the bottom, with plenty of room for supplies in the side pouch. I use the backside cigar slot (?) for cleaners.I had to deduct one star, however, for the construction of the tobacco-pouch portion. Although generous in size and conveniently accessed via the zipper, I think the lining is made from fabric, rather than some moisture-retaining material. Whatever the construction, the result is that your tobacco dries out a lot faster than you can smoke it. I filled the pouch with at least a weekend's worth of very moist mixture, and it was like pencil shavings after one day. So dry, in fact, that I couldn't even smoke it.If the design and/or construction of the tobacco area was rethought, this pouch could be perfect.EDIT: Turns out that the lining of the tobacco area IS made from some very thin rubberized material, almost like those latex kitchen gloves you can buy at grocery stores (although this is obviously synthetic). I'm not sure, then, whether all the moisture escapes through the sipper or what.

I used one of these for years. It finally gave it up about 6 months ago and I purchased this as a replacement. The leather is as good as the one I had, but I'm not sure about the liners. They seem a bit more light weight than my old one. I guess we will see. If this one lasts as long as the other one, I'll be happy.

Overall, this is a nice pouch. I really like the way it's laid out and the leather is very nice (not vinyl). It's big enough to carry most straight pipes and everything else one would need for a day (pipe cleaners, tool, lighter, and tobacco). The pics don't really show the pipe cleaner carrier on the backside of the pouch, but it's there and it's a great addition.My only problem is the interior liner for the tobacco itself. I've had it for less than a month, and really haven't used it much. I certainly hasn't been used rough or overstuffed, but the liner has ripped along the edge. It may have been sent that way and i didn't catch it l, or it may have just happened on its own, but it's doubtful I'll be able to keep anything in there now because it'll dry out or come out the other side of the pouch.Maybe mines a lemon... hopefully this isn't the norm.

The leather is nice and supple. The tobacco pouch will hold the moisture of your tobacco. The lower pouch tucks a pipe in there quite nicely. Very happy with it.

As described. Workmanship is excellent. The only thing that could possibly important this pouch would be if it was about 25% larger. That said I an delighted with this purchase.

This is the best tobacco pouch. I got it for my husband. He loves it, so I bought him another one.

Nice little tobacco pouch. Holds enough tobacco to last me 3 days or so. But I do not smoke muchThe leather is soft and seems to be decent quality. The zippers and snaps are well attached and seem like they will last a while.Very satisfied with this product.
