VetriScience Senior 27+ Active Health Chews for Senior Cats, Fish, 30 Count

I’m gonna have to be completely honest I was hoping that these treats would help my cat since he’s a senior cat. Now got to realize I have a cat that doesn’t miss a meal like you were going to shake treat bag from one house to the other and he is bolting to get to it he is absolutely tenacious when I buy a new bag Of cat food I immediately have to put it in his container because he will rip a hole into it and eat until he will yak his brains out. He’s crazy AnyWho so my cat will eat anything When I seen the damn cat eat bread right out of the packaging just a crazy cat. I couldn’t get my cat to eat these treats for the life of me apparently there’s something my cat won’t eat is these treats craziest thing ever I would try to make some in tuna no makes him with his regular cat food no mix them with pumpkin purée know he would lick all it out and leave those treats. So yeah no go for us hope they work out for others.

I have a 16-year-old cat who is missing all her teeth and she's a very picky eater. She no longer eats any store-bought cat food, whether it's wet or dry so I've resorted to making her homemade food consisting mostly of chicken meat and organs, eggs, and occasionally fish. However, I know that this isn't a complete diet and cats especially need taurine! I was using a different supplemental powder that I would sprinkle onto her food but, although she will still eat it, she would eat less of her food. Found this product and was worried I would have to crush it up into her food in order for her to eat it, but when I offered it to her she ate it by itself with no hesitation! I do have to break it up into smaller bits since she can't chew but for her, it's like a treat and she looks forward to eating one every day. I also love that it's affordable and gives me the peace of mind that she's getting all of her vitamins and taurine.

I ordered these because I have a bag of "Composure" chews by VetriScience Labs and my cats love them. My vet has been wanting my one cat to take a multivitamin and I haven't had any success in getting vitamins in her, even the gravy-type in a tube that my vet says all the pets love. So when I realized she loved the Composure chews, I figured she'd also love the multivitamin chew by VetriScience. They look the same as the Composure chews, but they smell kind of strong and 'vitamin-ey' and she practically ran from it when I tried to give it to her. I hadn't even tried to give one to my second cat, but when I was taking the pics for this review, she came up and started sniffing at it in my hand, so I put it down in front of her. She licked at it for awhile, then left it. Nevertheless, I felt like I had to give them at least 4 Stars for the nutritional value. Maybe some cats love the flavor, mine are just picky. The price is good, the nutritional stats are good, and they come in a convenient chew.

My old kitty cat is not pleased at all She is 20 and I mix it with her dry food and she picks all around and or leave it. It is a very strong smell for me which is not pleasant so I guess she feels the same way! I will not be purchasing again.

My senior kitty has been eating these for 3-4 months. No problem feeding them occasionally I break one up in her food. The packaging (I have to agree with the others) needs some thought. I have to piece one together to try to make a whole one because pretty much all of the chews are broken. A bottle would work a whole lot better. I would give 5 stars if the packaging was better.

My vet recommended a senior cat multivitamin to potentially help improve my pet's bloodwork. I will update once I get the next few test results. For now, I will say that while some users complained about the smell and their cat rejecting the supplement, I have had no problems. The smell is similar to Fortiflora, which I sprinkle on my cat's food to make it more appetizing. Since figuring out he can get these each day my pet has begun asking for it first thing in the morning, as soon as he sees me up. He seizes on it with gusto and I'm sure he'd try to eat more of them if they were allowed. In this respect they're already serving my 19 year old cat quite well.

I bought these to give to my 17 year old cat since she is getting up there in age. The first day i gave it to her she ate it. Second day she refused to even look at it and ran away when she sees the bag. I already bought two bags so she doesn't have a choice in the matter since it's for her health. I have resorted to hiding the bag and when she jumps up on my bed to go to sleep I pull it out and holding it to her mouth for 15mins straight till she submits and finally eats it. She hates me for the rest of the night and spends an hour licking herself and drinking water to get the taste out of her mouth but it doesn't seem to upset her stomach or anything so she gotta endure it till the bags are done and i can buy her some better tasting ones. Im giving it two stars cause it is very healthy so i know it will help her, too bad i have to fight her to eat it. If your cat is picky then beware and also don't make the mistake of buying 2 bags like me lmao

My cat used to eat them at first but now I have to crumble it up and hide it in her food. Not sure if it is doing anything but noticed her coat is much softer.

Finally! A multivitamin that all 3 of my cats LOVE, and that my senior cat can chew. Wish it came in package of more than 30

Hard to say how effective these vitamins are, but my cat loves the taste,and I feel better hoping my cat is being well cared for, she is 20.

My cat just spat them out every time I offered them to her.
