Greatly enjoy my pillow
I am 8 months pregnant and have been using this pillow since I was about 4 months. I wasn't having any trouble sleeping, but figured I'd get ahead of the game by getting this pillow....and I absolutely love it! Even at 8 months, I am still sleeping really well. I find this pillow to be very comfy. I've read of others using this in addition to other pillows, but I actually use only this pillow. I mainly use it the way the pictures here show, with having the long part in front of me being my favorite. Aside from sleeping with it I also fold it up and use it to prop myself up in bed, or to put under my legs to elevate them. There really are a bunch of uses for it. I enjoy it so much that I've brought it with me when staying at either a friend's or a family member's house to ensure I sleep well. I have a lot of discomforts from pregnancy, but surprisingly back pain is not one of them (even though I had back pain pre-pregnancy) and I really think it's because of this pillow. I may even consider using it post-pregnancy for this reason alone. As others have mentioned, there are some not so awesome qualities such as the pillow case being a bit difficult to get on and off. Honestly, I'm not sure how they'd avoid that, it's a long, skinny pillow. If they used a zipper or buttons it would just make using the pillow uncomfortable since there's technically no top or bottom so at some point you'd be laying on them. I do wish there were pillow cases to put over it though. The material can get a bit scratchy and mine has a few patches of lint balls, but it's just a minor problem for me. And it certainly larger than a standard pillow, but that honestly doesn't bother me too much. I've been running quite warm during my pregnancy so haven't been getting under the covers anyway, so it really hasn't posed a problem for me, but I can see where people may be annoyed by this. All-in-all, I have thoroughly enjoyed my pillow and while it's not a cheap pillow, I feel it was worth it.

Can i live in a house made of these? Only in my dreams. Which i have a lot of now that i own one of these pillows.
Unfortunately, shortly after getting my pillow, my husband and I lost the baby, but that didn't stop me from enjoying such a wonderful body pillow. I have actually replaced all of my other pillows with this giant one and I have never slept better. I have already told my husband that I refuse to sleep without it, ever, and if anything happens to this one, you better believe I will be ordering a new one immediately. I have a lot of trouble sleeping due to a wonderful mix of insomnia and naturally running really warm. This pillow separates my husband and I if we need it since I am pretty sure we are both furnaces, and I can sneak the end between my legs so my thighs don't touch (I'm sure I'm not the only one that gets uncomfortable from this) but then I also get to sneak my arm under the top part of the pillow, while it wraps gently around my neck. If you get in the right position with it between the legs and around the neck, it even puts a comforting light pressure on your back so you feel like you're in a cocoon. When we are binge watching netflix i can choose to either curl it into a pile for amazing support when I'm sitting up ( instead of folding all of the pillows I used to use and then trying to find the best comfort) and the coil shape makes a perfect pocket in the center for a soft, big cushion support, or if I'm laying down I sneak the bottom under both of my legs while I'm laying on my back and get a great leg rest. It comes with a cover that is really easy to wash ( literally just throw it in the washer. I throw it in with the rest of the bedding) and then I just dry it on low to medium heat so it doesn't shrink. I can go on and on about how amazing this body pillow is. No regrets, best pillow I've ever owned, easiest way to find happiness when you have 60-something dollars to spend.

Well worth the investment for pregnancy!
I started having back problems early on in my pregnancy and was looking for some relief. I saw these body pillows and hated the thought of spending so much money on just one little pillow. I tried propping myself up around 5 normal pillows that we already had. It didn't work and they didn't help at all. I inevitably would kick and toss them all around the bed while I slept. So I caved and ordered the Snoogle. I read some reviews where women said they had the same issue with the Snoogle - they would fall asleep all curled up in it and then toss it off the bed and find themselves alseep flat on their backs (a no-no once you're in the 2nd trimester). While I didn't have this exact problem, I will say it took a few days to get used to. The first night I used my Snoogle it almost felt down-right uncomfortable. Really, what I was experiencing was that sleeping on my side in general was very uncomfortable for me, pillow or not. After a couple of days of getting used to it and getting over the inner toddler in me yelling 'I don't want to sleep on my side!' it became the best thing ever that actually made sleeping on my side (and having a big pregnant belly) tolerable. The bigger I get, the more amazing it becomes. Since I can't comfortably sleep through the night on my side I like to start out curled up in it with my head on the pillow end, the long side tucked close under my back for support (and to help keep me from pushing it out of the way and rolling onto my back while I sleep), and the wide end tucked between my legs to support my hips. Then, half way through the night when my hip says no more, I fold it in half and use it as a back rest to help prop me up so I can sleep on my back (a picture guide comes with the Snoogle to show these many positions). I've also found it can be very nice to sit in like a clam shell at night after I've been on my feet all day, using the pillow end as a back rest and elevating my feet on the opposite end. I also don't feel like it's too puffy at all - I actually use my own pillow on top of the pillow end to help keep me propped up a bit more (I've just personally found this to be the most comfortable position for me). The only thing I do recommend is getting a replacement cover, specifically one of the new ones with the easy change zipper. It comes with a very scratchy, general white cover that only has one fold over at one end - meaning if you ever want/need to take the cover off to wash it you have to spend about a half an hour trying to stuff it back in like a sausage. That being said I have just dealt with the scratchyness and haven't washed it yet (but it's looking REALLY dirty and does desperately need to be washed). I've ordered a replacement cover since then =) Over all, great investment! Buy this if you are pregnant! Buy this for your pregnant wife! (Just don't always try steal it like my husband).

Magical, but don't buy the orignal, go for the upgrades!
I had a little bit of a hard time leaving 5 stars for this item, so I took one star off because the upgraded snoogles are worth their price and probably better than the original. But I do love it. The problem I have is that the cover on the original is scratchy, and after I washed it to try to make it softer, my pregnant self was huffing and puffing to get it back on. It was like trying to put skin back on a boa constrictor. I did after 15-20 minutes, and while it was a tiny bit softer, it wasn't great. I ended up coming right back to buy a $33 zippered jersey chic cover. For the cost I paid of the original snoogle and then the chic jersey cover, I should have just bought the Chic Jersey Snoogle to start with. I'm really quite upset about money wasted. So my recommendation is to do that! I haven't received the cover yet, but from the reviews everyone says that it's much softer than the original. Many also said that they had the original snoogle and were upset that they needed to come back and buy a cover for the same reasons I did. Beyond that, this pillow has been my saving grace to get some sleep. It's smaller than anticipated, and while I was skeptical, I've been getting some good nights rest. I woke up multiple times the first night from sore hips & shoulders, but I think I've finally figured out how to position just right, and it's been magical. I no longer spend 10+ minutes trying to get comfortable in a pillow fort, but fall right asleep within minutes of getting into bed. It's a challenge to get in and out of when I get up to use the restroom in the middle of the night, but I'm getting better at it. It's easiest to go in & out from the bottom/ foot of the bed. I also sleep with a boppy pregnancy wedge to support my stomach since the snoogle doesn't do a whole lot for the belly.

A sleep saver!
When I first started researching pregnancy pillows, I decided against buying one, convinced it was an expensive gimmick. But as my pregnancy progressed, I was waking up in pain, and could not find a comfortable position. I am normally a stomach sleeper, which is impossible now, and sleeping flat on your back is not advisable. The baby continuously kicked me if I slept on my left side, maybe I was leaning on him. That left me with very little options for a good night sleep. My first choice was the U shaped pillow, but all of them seem huge, leaving very little bed space my husband! I decided on C shaped pillow, and I am very happy I did. I actually prefer facing the C opening, which gives my back great support, like a hug. I tuck the bottom between my legs and under my tummy for support. I am petite, 5.2, so this option might not work as well for taller women.I can finally sleep on my left side! Plus, you can twist this pillow into a million shapes to build all kinds of supportive sitting or reclining structures. I will probably also use it as a breastfeeding pillow. It's a little tough to position yourself around the pillow every time you turn over, but that is normal- it is a big pillow after all, and pregnant women are not that agile. Some previous reviewers commented that this pillow retained body heat, making them very hot at night. The pillow does retain heat, (don't all pillows do that?) but I did not find that to be a problem at all. I get cold at night, and found that this feature was a pro, not a con. If I get hot, I just kick the blanket off. I haven't tried to wash the pillowcase yet, so I can't say anything about the ease of putting it back on the pillow. Regardless of that, I am very happy I purchased it. An update. Some reviewers complained that the cover was very difficult to put on the pillow after washing.I just washed the cover, and had zero trouble putting it on. It is an oddly shaped pillow, so I would recommend aligning the pillow to the pillowcase, so the ends are facing the same way. Grab the pillow by the curved end, and put it in the end of the pillowcase. Then, start pulling the length of the pillowcase down the pillow, just as you would a stocking, making sure the fit is tight. As you near the opening, stuff the other end into the pillowcase. It should be easier, because this end is less curved and is much closer to the opening. As both ends are stuffed in the pillowcase, the area around the opening will bulge- just force it inside- and viola! The pillowcase is on! It shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes. I would recommend following washing instructions - washing in warm water on gentle cycle, and drying on lowest heat setting. Perhaps some reviewers shrunk their pillowcases, which is why they had so much trouble putting them back on the pillow.

My new favorite thing in the world!!!
I have had my Snoogle for about 12 hours and I am IN LOVE with it!!! Last month I had an emergency appendectomy and needed something to replace an L shaped pillow that had recently been ruined. I normally sleep in a fetal position and can only sleep if my pillow is vertical, so the L shape pillow was perfect. However, after surgery I could only sleep on my back because my incisions and internal stitches hurt sleeping any other way. I needed something that provided a bit more support and versatility. At first I purchased 2 memory foam wedges; one for under my knees and one for my head and upper back. I couldn't even get through one night with those...they were soooo uncomfortable it just made matters worse! A week later I actually ended up in the hospital again with an almost fatal case of peritonitis. Luckily, I made it through but while I was there a nurse suggested this pillow, saying it was a more versatile, bigger, more comfortable Boppy. I was happy to find it here on Amazon for such a great price. I did wash the cover right away because it had a very new, plastic smell, but it was definitely from the packaging and not the pillow itself. The cover is a little tricky putting on the the first time, but if you put it on like you'd put on pantyhose, it's much easier. The pillow itself is firm but not overly so that it's in any way stiff or uncomfortable. It's still squishy, but not so much that it collapses and loses its fluffiness or support during or after use. Granted, I just got it so we'll see how the stuffing stands up after having it awhile. The cover is pretty simple in design making it an easy sewing project should you choose to customize it instead of trying to find new covers for it. All the different position possibilities make this pillow a great choice for anyone who is pregnant, just given birth, recovering from surgery or just loves having a ton of pillows around them while they sleep, watch movies, or read. The card it comes with also shows you a number of positions and what they're good for and help with. This is so much more than just your average body pillow, and I highly highly recommend it!

Three Stars: I would recommend (NOT for sleeping at night)
QUICK NOTE: I am not pregnant, I bought this to help me sleep better/more comfortably at night. With that, I couldn't tell you if I would/wouldn't recommend to someone who is pregnant. Pro's: - There is a removable/washable cover - If you have an animal, they'll love it - It's comfy for take a nap - Good use for a pillow to help you "prop-up" when reading, watching T.V, or on your laptop Con's: - (Personal preference) I move around A LOT at when trying to fall asleep and sleeping and this pillow doesn't allow for many positions I would normally sleep in at night. - It can feel quite claustrophobic when trying to sleep with this at night - Yes, there is a cover you can take on and off to keep it clean, but it is INSANELY hard to get that thing back on. I gave up and ended up washing my pillow. They recommend not to wash the pillow, therefore I am not recommending it.Just a note: I have washed it about 5 times since I've owned it and (On COLD, HAND-WASH MODE) my pillow still looks good as new. - The WHITE pillow gets dirty really quickly, especially if you're using it every night when you sleep - I have a Queen-Size bed and the pillow takes up quite a bit of room and isn't the most stylish looking thing. You obviously do not have to keep it on the bed when you aren't using it, but for people with no extra storing space take note that it can take up room and doesn't look great on the bed. Extra Notes: I use this pillow for propping myself up to read a book or work on my laptop, I don't use it for much else. It does provide a comfy place to sleep for animals (my dog and cat love it). If not for yourself, then maybe buy it for your pets? Ha. Do I think this is a bad product? No, but figure out how you want to use it first and see if it is worth the price and the space it will take up. I wouldn't recommend if you plan to use this to sleep at night, but that is my based off of my personal experience and preferences. I would recommend if you want to use it for napping or for propping yourself up.

Love this pillow!
Update: I have had this pillow for over 2 years now. I still use it! I used it when I would nurse my daughter. It was great back support while we would lay down together. She sleeps with me mosts nights and it still gets use as a barrier on the edge of the bed. For the most part, I really like this pillow. I'm 19 weeks and for someone who doesn't sleep well in the first place I was hoping this would make the pregnancy sleeping more comfortable. Especially since I was learning to side sleep (I'm a stomach sleeper and it was getting uncomfortable). At first, I didn't like it. I didn't know how to sleep with it comfortably. The head part is a bit firmer than my pillow and was still adjusting to something new. After a couple nights I started to figure out my favorite postions and I started getting use to the feel of the pillow. I was still having a hard time adjusting from my head pillow to the snoogle. I learned I can twist the head part to make an "S" and I would use my pillow in its place. It actually worked well for me, except the snoogle would eventually get pushed away because it wasn't cradled in it. I've had the pillow for 3 weeks now and I am very comfortable and happy with it! I sleep with it every night and have been getting restful nights. I had to try many different positions and nights figuring it out, but like I said, I didn't sleep well before. I can sleep on my left side almost the entire night and I'm so comfortable with it now. My favorite position is with the long part on my belly and keep the bottom by my lower thigh right by my knees and hug it. I feel like it's helped with my hips too. I love being cradled in it.

Excellent soft and effective total body pregnancy / maternity pillow
Perfect. My wife just loses herself in to sleep as soon as she comes to bed. She is in her 5th month now. She enjoys being with her Leachco Snoogle total body pillow. The size is appropriate for Indians. Material is really soft and good.

Waste of money
The pillow tore while putting back the cover. The cover isn't soft, rough and pricky on face. Irritates the skin, make you feel itchy. Stopped using after a couple of uses. Not comfortable at all.

Not accurate images
The images with model are in accurate. It shows the curves hugging the thighs/around head but it is a much longer pillow with less curve. When i use it and have my head on the one end, the bottom curve my feet can barely touch as 5 6”
