Richard Scarry's Cars and Trucks and Things That Go

This book has kept my toddler so so busy. It’s amazing and it’s in the top 10 of my all time favorite kids books. It’s so incredibly creative, fun, and imaginative. It tells as story, it educates, it opens up for imagining side stories on every page. Don’t forget to search for the goldbug!! It’s also a huge book which is a plus!

Classic must have children's book. So much detail in each illustration. Variety of animals and silly vehicles go about daily activities. I loved it as a kid. Now, I love it as a parent.

When the children were young, we checked it out from the library so often they thought it was ours! Finally had to get it! This is a favorite for children, grandchildren, and to have handy when friends and neighbors with children visit. Teaches so much, not only about transportation, but also has a "Where's Waldo" aspect to it as well. GREAT BOOK!

Bought this book for our granddaughter. It is certainly much nicer than the 50-year-old book that I still have that my grandfather bought for me. My wife and I enjoyed this book so much as children and we bought the same book for all five of our own children. There was no way that we weren't going to buy it for our first grandchild. She absolutely loves it and whenever she is with us she no longer wants to have her tablet which makes us very happy. It was nice to see the pickles family again and a search for the gold bug. So much more My Generation then the where's Waldo series. My wife and I even enjoyed the series Once Again. You can't go wrong with any of Richard Scarry books

Toddler is obsessed with this book. All the different types of cars and trucks are very intriguing to him and he will even sit by himself and flip through the pages pointing things out. Would love to purchase more books like this.

Awesome book that has stood the test of time. Boys and girls both love to hear about things that go.

Richard Scarry is a classic. I bought this for my two year-old grandson. He calls it the “GoGo book”. We can spend hours looking at all of the detailed illustrations. He’s learning words and occupations and insights into the world. It’s also incredibly humorous even on an adult level There is a little tiny gold bug on every page. We have fun looking for gold bug hidden within the illustrations This is the kind of book that will grow with a child. It is interesting for any age.

I was pleased to find this book as my son, now age 39, enjoyed it as a child so I was afraid it was no longer in print. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

My son LOVES this book!!! He will read it for hours all by himself, just looking at all the pictures. Richard Scarry is a wonderful author, we will definitely be getting more of his books.

I bought this over a year ago and I still have to read it every day! Luckily there is so much to discover and as his little mind expands we keep finding new details to talk about. It used to be just seeing a train, now we look for specific types of tractors with wheels or tracks!
