A Non-Typical Review for a Non-Typical Book
When I was first exposed to the work of this author on Facebook, I decided to check out the reviews for her books in this series (Volumes 1-5). I noticed quickly that the readers were not speaking specifically about what the books are about at all in their reviews. But, they were speaking in more of a general way and using words like “magical” and “mystical,” and saying “it will change the way you think” and “this book will bring clarity and peace to your mind.” I did not think this was overly helpful at the time. I didn’t understand why people couldn’t just say what the book was about. Normally, I appreciate reviews that answer such questions such as: What is the author’s purpose in writing? Who is the author’s intended audience? Or, how does the work of this author build on the work of other authors in this field? At the very least, I would like to know what the book is about as much as possible before I order it.So without any real understanding of what I was getting, I ordered Karma and Forgiveness. After reading these, I immediately ordered Intuition, Trust, and Appreciation. And, now it is time for me write a review. I am happy to write a review because these books have quickly become and remain a huge influence on me, on my life. And, now I ‘get it’ why people give such glowing positive reviews but without specifics. It is because these books are about the topics indicated in the individual titles, but they are about SO MUCH MORE than the individual topics!! They become vehicles of learning and awareness for the reader in a way that seems to speak directly to the reader right where he/she is and lives. These books seem to speak to the individual on the individual’s own personal level, in a way that seems to speak directly to the individual’s own specific circumstances! I am very well read, and I have never experienced anything like this before. There is a UNIQUE wisdom at work here in this series, just as there is in the author’s book “Improve your life in 80 Days.” ***I invite you to see my review about ‘80 Days’, everything said about that book applies to this series as well! It’s the second review from the top of the list at https://www.amazon.com/Improve-Your-Life-80-Days/dp/1794276467The principles/precepts shared by this author seem to be written by a genuine and authentic person living in the real world to others also living in the real world. Now, I think I understand now why there is such a draw and great benefit from Happiness in Your Life . . . All of the wisdom in the stand alone quotes of the author on Facebook, the individual books (especially 'Improve Your Life in 80 Days), and the first 5 books of the series forms a synergy. The more one reads and understands the works of HIYL, the more there is a building of precept on precept and the more there is a kind of cooperation (between author and reader), and a true participation in one's own journey. In summary these books speak to the topic indicated in each title, but there is so much more wisdom in addition to this in each volume that speaks to you in a way that matters, in a way that makes an immediate difference in your life. I cannot recommend the works of Doe Zantamata highly enough. I am very grateful for the changes these books have brought to my life. They are definitely “magical” and “mystical.” They “will bring clarity and peace” in your own personal circumstances, especially if you are in need of any kind of healing. And, they “will change the way you think/the way you know,” and the way you are/your state of being in such a positive a good way . . . and after reading these books, the next thing you know you will be trying to review/describe your experience with these books and babbling on amazon like this very grateful reader

Another Great read on the Happiness journey by Doe!
I’ve read all of Doe’s books but Appreciation may be her best work. She has an extraordinary ability to understand the complicated roots and concepts of happiness, in this case Appreciation, yet has the ability to put them into simple language using easily understandable analogies. This talent enables the reader to readily visualize various key ingredients of, and pathways to, Happiness. Her simple explanations are sometimes intermingled with more complex thought that I find a bit like reading poetry. I needed to pause for a moment to absorb what I just read to let the words and ideas sink in.Each of her books are linked to her prior writings yet are very helpful standalone guides. Her books are chocked full of helpful insights and are must-reads for anyone struggling with their happiness, looking to understand and improve their happiness or simply wanting to increase their understanding of the drivers of their happiness.
