The Silicone Kitchen Reusable Jumbo Silicone Baking Cup, Non-Toxic, BPA Free, Dishwasher Safe, Jumbo, 12 Pack, White Blue Green

I have a special recipe for making pistachio muffins. Unfortunately, this can be quite messy. I also have a hard time finding the jumbo-sized paper baking cups. These are great! They work exactly as described and clean up very well!

The colors are beautiful. The cups are fexible but sturdy enough to stand on their own on a baking sheet without a muffin pan. We made breakfast egg muffins and they popped right out after baking ... did not stick at all, even without the cups being greased.

The jumbos really are Jumbo. I have included pictures of regular paper and foil cups for side/side comparison. I ordered a size up because I was worried they would be too small. With these, the only muffin top I will have to worry about is around my waist, lol. They are very sturdy and stand up nicely without support directly on the racks when filled. Out of the package there was only a very slight odor. Following the advice of other reviewers, I first washed well with hot soapy water, placed in oven at 400° for 10 minutes. The smell was horrendous! I was afraid they had melted onto the heating elements! I took them out, immediately washed again in hot soapy water and put them back in to bake again at 350° for 15 minutes. Again there was an odor, but not quite as bad. After washing well in hot soapy water again, I contemplated repeating the cycle once more, but decided to try them. I made GF banana bread muffins, filling them each half full. I sprayed half with olive oil and left half without just to test the stickiness. I removed some hot, some warm and some cold. The difference in the amount of remaining crumbs was so minimal that I won’t bother with the oil next time. I can’t speak to how they wash in a dishwasher, but I flipped them inside out and handwashed them easily with the kitchen brush. After using them a couple of times, I have NOT noticed a taste in the foods and the only odors were heavenly. I haven’t had to noticeably adjust my baking time for anything so far, but I cook in a countertop Breville. In the pictures, you can see that all 12 fit nicely (it will fit a 9”x13” pyrex). I have a different silicone muffin “pan” that I ordered a couple of years ago - it’s terribly flimsy and the cups are tiny. I look forward to using these in its place. I’m not sure what’s going wrong with the other negative reviews, but I consider these to definitely be a great buy!

They work for me. The muffins don't burn. They're sturdy enough to stand up when they're filled. Unfortunately, part of the muffin always sticks. They mostly get clean in the dishwasher, but I don't trust them anywhere but at the top of the dishwasher. Got them in different sizes. All sizes did work as expected except that some muffin stuck in all of them. The jumbo were the least problematic for sticking. The cups are stiff enough that the smaller sizes made the muffin a bit more difficult to pull out.
