Was about to order, and seen all the comments about them being knock off and not real knipex pliers. What’s up?

Don't know who those reviewers are ordering from, but ordering from ourselves or Amazon will most assuredly be getting you 100% authentic Cobra XS pliers. Can't even imagine why someone would want to produce fake versions of these anyways; they're such a niche product.

Someone please tell me, what is the measurement of the bottom of the handle width outside edge to edge when the pliers are closed. Looks about 1 inch?

I have to Disagree with Rubino, I keep these pliers in my pocket and use them all the time! Are they small, yes? Small enough in fact that I don’t even notice they are in my pocket. However, they are very useful. You’re not going to be working on cars or plumbing every day with these pliers but in a pinch, these things are simply amazing. It’s also worth mentioning they open exceptionally wide for the size they are.
