I retiled about 1,000 square feet of my home and as a precaution I use this membrane over the entire floor because there were control joints in the concrete slab. I looked at other brands and I've actually worked with the schluter brand you know the orange stuff which I actually really do not enjoy working with. This product in my opinion surpasses the quality of the much more expensive schluter product. It was easy to work with, easy to cut and laid down flat. And a very affordable price!

Hands down the best! I’ve been a tile and stone contractor for 30 plus years. This product has a fiberglass mesh over the top that does the following: more comfortable to work over, allows easier spreading for mortar, less memory than some of the other products. My personal favorite!

Great underlayment material! Neater than durock, and breathable for use with polymer modified mortar. Sticks to sub floors very well, even if you have to replace tiles. Ditra requires specific mortars for their installation, hassle and confusing to some installers.
