Perfect for a beginner and a nice between-project break for more advanced modelers. This is exactly the same as the Academy1:72 P-51D kit, so you might save a buck or two buying this one. It's a simple, stripped-down, nothing fancy, easy-to-build P 51D that results in a pretty little bird for your desk, no matter how you paint it or modify it. I've modified mine to represent a historic race plane for variety. Would (and have) bought again. For the price, you can't NOT put a couple of these in your stash for fun.

For the price. Details. The plastic is good. I wish they had more types in 1/72 iv gotten all of the ones you can find on here. Great little models

When the product says it’s A Blue Nose P-51, I would have expected the nose to be blue. It is not, it is gray plastic. There are decals,But nothing for a blue nose. Just saying.If it says BLUE NOSE, the nose should be blue. It doesn’t say you must paint it blue, besides there is no paint. That’s extra. Granted it wasn’t expensive, but don’t say something is Blue, in the description, and when the box is opened, it’s gray. Change the name, or say, you need to paint it blue here is the color # you need. If you’re not savvy re: models, ask before you buy on line!!
