This is such a versatile ingredient. Makes a great binding agent (and extra chestnut flavour) with whole chestnuts in stuffing. Also great in a chocolate chestnut cake. Great value multi pack.

I use chestnut puree in vegan nut loaves and "sausage" rolls - all year round - and I find that chestnuts are only available in local shops around Christmas - this puree works very well

I bought this to make cakes but it's not puree. It's like a solid block. I tried to press it down with spoon and add a bit of water but not working. Still solid. Never ever buy this again. Taste disgusting too nothing like what I used to have before. So I had to bin them

Used for chocolate torte,you don’t necessarily taste the chestnut but the texture they give is perfect

Not easy to get this in the shops these days, so excellent to get it at such a good price online.
