Suggest you Pre-charge bass prior to install
Great product thus far. Only thing I had issue with is installed in winter took a bit to do right and luck it was mild outside. Problem I had was rechargeable back up battery took time to charge so had to pop off and use the alternate micro mini port to charge externally. Once I did that worked like a charm. So, I suggest you pre-charge the unit prior to installing. Also, the Google thermostat-e only displays the temp. No option to display date/time. As the gen3 does. Also agree the smoke glass is nice look but could be clearer. Would recommend. Easy to install
