MED PRIDE Sterile Gauze Dressing Pads, 2 x 2 in, 12-Ply Cotton, 100 Count

These are very thin unpadded gauzes. I don’t care for thickly padded inflexible gauzes that don’t bend or conform to knuckles and digits well. I like them expressly because they are thin and allow the wound to breathe, even if some cream or ointment may stain the outside of the gauze because of leakage, I still prefer it for fast wound healing. They are at a great price and if you find you need a more complete wound covering, use two. Even at that, they are more malleable than most expensive gauzes. I prefer them over brand name ones.

Buyer Beware! I am generally loathe to write a super-critical review but have to make an exception here. I bought these supposed 12-ply 2x2” gauze “pads” to cover surgical wounds. They are completely useless for that or any other purpose other than perhaps kindling for the fire pit (which is literally where they are going). They are very roughly woven and rough feeling 1”x3” single layer pieces of fiber. They are an open weave and not suitable to cover anything and would not even work to clean or disinfect cuts or scrapes - too thin and very rough feeling. I can honestly say this is probably the most “ripped-off” I have ever felt by any online purchase. These are not only below expectations, but actually not even close to what they purport to be. Never buy from this seller or company!

The dressing would not absorb enough fluid from the wound. It was not right for me. The patches were well wrapped.

FYI. Website might say NONSTICK, but, when package arrived it was NOT nonstick. Customer service was great and quickly refunded the full amount.

I find the gauze pads are cheap you have to double to triple to get anykind of absorption to stick well.
