Red Line Universal Funnel (RED)

The odd looking cures on this are perfection for automobile gas tank additives.Just the right angle to get into the lead-free restrictor holes (do they need those anymore?)Between my Van, kids cards, and truck, the angle of the tangle varies some depending on the filler neck of the gas tank. But this always pretty much works well to get in there and let me pour in the additives.This isn't good for verticals (oil, tranny fluid) but each application requires their design - so you should by both neck shaped products.

Perfect for the chevy 5.3 in the late model suburban. The oil fill is almost is almost a side fill in these vehicles and is recessed. Without this or some homemade contraption you end up with a mess just filling your crankcase. You could get a funnel with a hose but what would you rest the funnel on while you fill? This rests perfectly against the brake reservoir. It's just plain perfect for these vehicles.

I know I am using this funnel for a non-automotive problem. But due to the location of the bathroom sink overflow hole, I was unable to pour the baking soda and vinegar into the hole. I looked for a funnel shaped in this fashion to do the job. And this funnel is one piece so that there is no leakage like the other two part funnels had. So I am thrilled with this one. I suspect it would work wonders for any application where the substance wouldn't deteriorate the plastic of the funnel, like lubricant or oil.

The funnel works well for fueling up my Polaris XP1000, although I did add a wire/hook arrangement to it to keep it in place while fueling. The mouth of the funnel is a bit small but if you are careful and pour the fuel slowly it works fine. I am giving it 4 stars as the material is thinner that I had hoped for, but it functions well so I would still recommend it.

Makes easier to add fluid in hard to reach areas like transmissions without a dipstick or upper filler which is located behind a wheel

You don't know how much you need this until you have to pour a liquid in to a something on a vertical plane.Heavy duty plastic should last for a long time

Worked great for pouring caustic soda and boiling water down the plugged laundry drain of my rental properties without having to remove the washer or the drain hose.

I originally purchased this to add oil to my BMW K1200LT motorcycle. The oil port was in the side of the motor and buried in the cowling. The funnel worked great!! I sold it with the motorcycle and then realized I still needed one so I purchased another one.. I have found numerous uses in adding fluids to difficult to reach locations. A handy tool for those of us who tinker with motorcycles, cars and boats.
