Roland Rough Cut Demerara Sugar Cubes, 17.6-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

I've been a fan of Teavana rock sugar since I started drinking their teas two years ago. However, when my supply got very low and went on their site to order more sugar, I found that it was out of stock. So, I came to Amazon to find a replacement. Based on the other reviews, I decided to purchase these sugar cubes as a replacement until I was able to get more rock sugar.I do not regret my decision. There is no distinction between the Teavana rock sugar and the Demerara sugar cubes, as far as taste and quality goes. I brew both iced and hot teas, and the cubes add a wonderful sweetness to both.As far as the price is concerned, I'm considering switching to the Demerara because I get more product for my money. Teavana charges $25.50 for three pounds, while you pay $28 for six pounds for the Demerara.The sugar comes in six boxes that are shrink-wrapped together. My package arrived within two days after I ordered it, which also impressed me. I would recommend the Demerara sugar to any tea or coffee drinker.

People keep stopping by to borrow a small bit of my Roland Rough Cut's... true there are many brands around but I have used this for ages and will continue since I like the irregular shapes for putting in my cafe cremas/aka espresso's in the morning. If I make a single or double there is a Rough Cut for that or perhaps I want more in a particular roasted coffee espresso and I can choose a smaller piece with one or two larger ones.Depending on where you buy right now or it may be a whole new thing each pound of my sugar came in a very cool 4x4 tall tin...great for gifts...You cannot miss on Roland Rough Cut. Tje six pack is th best deal in town. gp

This not white sugar ads a great touch to strong coffee. Everyone that tries this is impressed.

We buy this by the case so we always have it on hand. I love the rough organic shapes of the cubes.

We have been ordering this sugar cubes for about a year. Most often we use them in black tea and coffee, which adds a little more flavor than white sugar but doesn't change the overall taste. We had been ordering another brand of demerara sugar cubes but when I actually did the math these were much less expensive. It comes with four individual boxes with sealed plastic bags to keep the sugar fresh. The cubes are not perfect squares, they look more natural the the exact cubes of white sugar. You won't be disappointed if you get these.

I tasted rough cut demerara sugar cubes at a coffee shop in Carmel-by-the-sea and suffice to say I totally loved them. Since the regular grocery stores didn't hold them, it took me awhile to find Roland rough cut demerara brown sugar cubes.The product comes as advertised, is shipped promptly and is a great addition to tea and coffee. After tasting this, the normal white sugar doesn't taste so good. I haven't tried it in baking yet but hope to try it soon. Thus far, I bought about 4 packs and haven't had any reasons to complain.

Great for value. Keep it with my coffee cups.
