Drove a 1996 Chevrolet K2500 with a snowplow till 2004. Removed original Delco alternator in 2020 that still charged but not enough when plowing snow and replaced with a160 amp Delco. Worked great till it did not. 5 years of intermittent use. Bearings make noise. Charges part time. Looks like I need a Bosch. Maintained a diesel fleet and they seldom failed.
