Q: How can I get the cushions for the chairs for this item?

Go to home depot and have them cut an MDF board to fit the space (have measurements of the seat ready). They cut for free if you buy materials there....then go to Joanne's or Michaels and buy about 3" foam pads or 1" and just double/triple up- use a bread knife at home to cut to same size of mdf boars.....Pick our a simple fabric you like-a couple yards a. Then cut the fabric to size...enough to drape and fold over the foam pieces on top of the board. Then use staple gun to attach fabric to bottom of board. Place on chair and there you have it! I'm not the most crafty person, but I followed a tutorial like this for customer cushions I needed to go on top of a low bookcase and it worked perfectly. 4 years later cushions are still doing well.

The conversion kit is to turn the middle of bed into a table. The chars are a part of the bed.

It is only necessary if you want it to be a table and two chairs. It is not part of the bed at all. Kit comes with everything needed for the bed only. We did not get the conversion kit. Bed is great and the kids love it.
