This was bought for our horse that had an abcess. Didn't realise jusy how useful they are and not just in the 'keeping it dry type way.' This boot keeps the heat in when using a warm poultice as well as maintains an element of protection. For the price it is actually value for money but the saying 'pay nice, pay twice' does come to.mind. The boot is durable to a limit and we found that it starting tearing in less than a fortnight. If you have a horse who's abcess is going to take a while then you woukd be better off paying a few more pennies for a sturdier model. We ordered a size 7 and found it a bit of a challenge putting on the horse. We had another boot from a previous purchase that was a size 8 and whilst a tad loose on the fit, compensated for the vet wrap and reams of duct tape! Overall for short term use it is perfect. Just ensure that you measure your horses shoe and fet rhe right size before you buy it as this is key to a good fit. Guestimating won't cut it! Definitely worth having bit if you're in for the long haul on an abcess then pay a few pennies more for better quality.

Ja, nach 8 Tagen im Offenstall war der Schuh kaputt. Aber: die perfekte Lösung, und nach einer Woche 24/7 finde ich, ist das auch ok, nichts anderes hält so lange. Einfach an + auszuziehen, auch mit Verband darunter. Der Reißverschluß ist gut geschützt, so dass auch mein 2jähriges Pferd den Schuh nicht ausbekommen hat. Ich konnte sie sogar als Handpferd mit ins Gelände nehmen, für mich die bessere Alternative zu jeden Tag Hufverband mit zig Lagen Klebeband.

Super résistant, le pied reste impeccable à l'intérieur...mon cheval est au pré, dans la boue, sol détrempé, et il n'a ni perdu ni abîmé le chausson. Par sécurité, j'ai rajouté une cloche par-dessus. Je suis vraiment impressionnée par la qualité et la praticité du chausson...mon cheval n'a pas marché bizarrement avec (comme ils peuvent le faire avec des chaussons en PVC), il a l'air très à l'aise dans la pose de son pied et l'articulation. Il n'y a clairement aucune gêne. Un peu compliqué à mettre mais simple à défaire.
