Super super bright and easy to install. Stays charged long and various modes to both of them. My child thinks he is so cool riding at night with these now.

As my headline says . . . you cannot beat this combo for the price here on amazon. I am probably going to order a second one because it is such a good value. First, I wanted a light set which used regular batteries, in this case AAA. I have about 25 AAA rechargeable batteries and they work flawlessly in both these lights. I like the fact that the headlight is plenty bright enough for my early morning rides, however, I primarily use it in the flashing mode since I am more concerned about being seen vs. seeing where I am going (I usually begin my early morning rides at dawn on nice paved bicycle paths and/or streets here in Eugene Oregon). The rear taillight works just fine, albeit is not all that bright. It is just "adequate" for my early morning rides. Yes, both light are made entirely of lightweight plastic, but they function just fine. I am always careful with whatever I own, so I am sure these will last at least a few seasons of riding, maybe longer. The mounting hardware is excellent for both lights. Actually, the included hardware is better than many other more expensive brands. Do yourself a favor and spend the $10.00 on this set. You will not regret it.

The Chromium version with rechargeable front and rear lights was a perfect replacement to my decade old BV AAA battery powered lights. These new lights are extremely bright and I like that the mounting is very easy, if you have existing silicon/rubber inserts. I have a simple Giant hybrid (city) bike and that’s where these are installed. I used a thicker silicon insert from the original installation so that the front light would mount tight enough to not move or fall while riding and to not be annoying when taking the light on and off the front mount. My handlebar thickness is thin, too thin for the silicon wrap to work (the extra flap just blocks the mount, it’s a bad design for thin handlebars). But the screw mount is also bad because the multiple silicon inserts didn’t work either (believe me, I used all of them, and it was still lose after tightening the screw as far as it could possibly go). Since I had a thicker silicon insert from my previous installation, I was able to use that and all was well. The front mount isn’t going anywhere now and I can very easily remove the front light from the mount. The rear light mount is the silicon wrap or the clip (the clip just goes on the flat kit under your saddle, kit sold separately of course). I got lucky here because my down tube on the rear part of the bike frame is thick enough to easily use the silicon wrap mounting, worked perfectly. My flat kit wasn’t BV, but it had the same strap for the clip, but it was just angled downward, so I didn’t use the the clip. Extremely pleased with the upgrade overall, these lights are extremely bright compared to the AAA battery powered ones that they replaced. Be careful, these new lights will blind you, no joke, they are very bright. Cannot comment on how long the rechargeable built in batteries will last (in terms of charge cycles before they completely fail), but I know they will provide hours of ride time at the lower brightness levels. If you want rechargeable lights, and especially if you are replacing very old BV lights, definitely choose these, very nice upgrade from the originals.

The lights work really well and were easy to install. The front light is nice and bright, and the different settings are great (it can be set to always on, steady blinking, or quick bursts of flashes. The rear light is also decently bright, and it too has 3 modes to cycle through (always on, steady blinking, or steady clinking but cycling through each of the 3 lights individually). It comes with the option to mount the rear light to your bike seat or clip it the a bag. I have a bag under my seat with a place for a clip, which I was using to hold the light, but it popped off one day and I lost it. I contacted the seller, who sent me a brand new one for free, which was awesome. On my next ride, with the new rear light, I lost it again another 5 times (I kept hearing it hit the concrete so I was able to find it every time). For some reason, it doesn't like to stay on the clip. I'm thinking about just switching to the seat-post mount, or else taping/gluing the opening of the clip shut so it can't pop off anymore. I didn't take off a star for this because it might be an issue with the loop on my bag as opposed to the clip on the light. Also, the excellent customer service provided by the seller to send me a new light for no charge tells me that they stand behind this product, which I support. It is a great item at a great price, and I would gladly buy again and recommend to anyone. Just be careful if you are going to clip it onto the back of a seat bag.

UPDATED REVIEW: I've left my original review below for reference, but shortly after posting that I got a reply from customer service, they shipped a replacement light immediately, it arrived fairly quickly and it works great! They even sent just the headlight (which was the broken bit) instead of a whole set, which I appreciated since it reduces waste. I could wish that it had just worked out of the box, but things happen. The fact that the seller did the right thing is what matters. Great set of bike lights for a very good price! OLD REVIEW: "the headlight in the set I bought simply doesn't work. I put in new batteries, made sure everything was aligned correctly, but no matter what I can't get the light to come on. A couple friends have tried, they can't either. "Unfortunately I didn't realize this until I was a couple weeks out of the return window. I bought this over the summer, but didn't need it until recently as the days are getting shorter. I contacted the seller, as suggested by Amazon, but they have not replied. "Based on my experience it seems like this is junk, it's been a waste of time and money."

Update: front light holder snapped in less than a month. We now have it velcro strapped awkwardly now while. Back light still ok but cannot get it tight enough where it stays straight, its too loose and slides sideways all the time. Original: Pretty decent, only complaint is that the attachments are not super stable so the headlight wobbles. It was good they offered two different attachment options for the main headlight because the clamp attachment was too loose even fully screwed, and the rubber inside that hugs the pole is not fixed and would slide out over time going over bumps etc, so we had to use the wrap around option. Even the wrap around version is still a little loose and the headlight wobbles a little when riding. Its fine for when my kid occasionally rides around in the evening as its mainly for visibility of him and less about him using it to see. Both front and rear lights are bright enough for our basic and brief needs. He likes that the headlight has a quick release from the main mount so he can use it as a flashlight, and its small enough to fit in his pocket.

This lighting package is really nice. The price is fair and the quality is excellent. I highly recommend this product.

I bought 2 of these based on so many reviews that said these were bright. Ummm...what are you all comparing the brightness to, a bedroom night light? These are NOT bright. I paid $9.49 for each set. Cheap plastic housing. It needs to be fed 4 AAA batteries and it still drains fast. Oh and one of the 2 I ordered was dead on arrival. I knew I was buying $9 headlights but it was still worse despite having tempered expectations. Boy, do I feel like I got ripped off. I gave the working one to my toddler so she can have a flash light to play with. As far as brightness goes, this light would be a bear minimum if all you wanted is to be barely seen by motorists amidst city street lights. If you ride in rural areas and are thinking of buying this to light your way...sure it'll work but you better ride slow because you won't see too far ahead of you. Daytime use to get you noticed...I guess it's better than no flashing headlight...just remember, it's not that bright at night, so it won't be better during the day. If this is a secondary light for you, solely used for its flash mode to supplement your other and stronger headlight then this may be worth the current price of $8. IMO, do not use this as a primary headlight. With regards to the tail light, it is serviceable. It has steady on, flashing, and chasing (3 low powered leds). Again, I would not use this as a primary tail light. I would use this as a secondary and install it on a seat stay. Put your primary tail light on your seat post. Yes, I could have returned these to Amazon, but I didn't want the hassle. I kept the set because I decided to use the rear lights as a secondary rear tail light. A few weeks later, I decided to get a stronger secondary. I am now using it as a tertiary rear light. It works great as a 3rd light. Maybe the 2 I ordered came from a bad batch. Maybe not. Your miles may vary, but for me, I would not buy this set again.

Like: powerful and lasting headlight. Easy to fit onto my bike.

Por el precio que tiene me esperaba mucho menos. Las luces son bastante potentes, tienen 3 modos de encendido cada una (luz fija, intermitente y ráfagas) que se cambian con un botón. Iluminan muy bien, la delantera tiene un alcance de 2-3m en ciudad. Funcionan con pilas, la delantera funciona con 4xAAA y la trasera con 2xAAA. Vienen con un soporte cada una para fijarlas al manillar y al sillín. Con unas piezas de goma para ajustar al diámetro de tu cuadro, por lo que no tendrás problema en montarlas. Una vez fijados los soportes, puedes montar y desmontar las luces de forma muy fácil. En otras tiendas tengo visto cosas parecidas por +30€. Si vas a andar por carretera, te recomiendo que mires algo un poco más profesional, porque la luz delantera no te servirá para ir a oscuras. La caja dice que son a prueba de agua, pero yo no me fiaría demasiado. No creo que aguante más que salpicaduras ocasionales. Aún así, si utilizas la bici para ir por ciudad este es tu pack de luces ideal.

Excelente calidad y precio. Lo único es que utiliza baterías. 4 la lámpara y 2 la luz trasera. Yo tenía baterías recargables y son las que utilizo. La lámpara ilumina bastante bien cuando salgo a las carretera y no hay luces y la luz fija se ve muy bien.
