Q: Where is the cutlery manufactured? one website says china, but another says "manufactured by alessi."

I found the box. Printing on it says it is made outside of the E.U. There is also a sticker on the box that says it is made in China. It is in such a tiny print that I needed to put on glasses to read it.

Q: Does it have a heavier than usual weight? Or is it on the lighter side?

They have a very nice weight. They're a bit heavier than they look, but not so heavy that they fall off the edges of plates if you rest them there. We have had guests comment that they have a nice weighty feel.

Q: Is this offering for 1 place setting?

Correct. This includes only one place setting. They are beautifully made and top quality. Highly recommend them!

Q: Where were they manufactured?

Designed by architect in England and Manufactured in Italy. I use them day to day and have had them for years. Stylish and also useable for dinner parties.
